This is a beautifully furnished and well-appointed hotel about a 5 to 10-minute cab ride from the Baunhof, depending on traffic. We arrived by train early afternoon on a rainy mid-week holiday, so everything was very quiet in town, and we were happy to hear their on-site restaurant was open. After checking into our second floor corner room - decorated...

The Villa Geyerswoerth is a beautiful hotel located in the center of Bamberg. The rooms are beautifully appointed with careful attention to detail. The hotel is by far the nicest in Bamberg and is in a great location close to major sites and the historic center. VG is a great place from which to see Bamberg and spend some time...

Nice location, nice staff, nice breakfast. Room is big enough and it is cleaned every day. Free internet available all around. Unfortunately I was there only in winter or late autumn, so I couldn't enjoy the nice garden in front of the hotel.

My room here was small but cozy, clean and comfortable. Location is nice for walking to restaurants etc. all in all, I'd stay here again. It has the basics: wifi, clean, nice bathroom, tv, desk etc. perfect for a place to land after a long day. Good beer awaits you.

Stayed for a business trip. The hotel is really very clean. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is nice. Internet in some rooms ( including mine) is terrible. But my collegaue had fantastic reception. Hitrl is on bank of Am canal and the whole are is so nice. WLking distance to most attractions. Will consider again.

Often it's attention to details and an understanding of guest needs that make the difference between a really good hotel and a mediocre one. From that standpoint, this hotel is sadly mediocre. We arrived in our car, drove up the longish narrow driveway to the front entrance, and then found there was no way other than by backing down, in...

Location & Hotel & Restaurant This nicely designed hotel is located at the edge of the old city centre which is great. I do have doubts, however, whether this hotel is still meeting the high standards of a 4-star hotel in comparison to other well-designed 4-star hotels (for example, lack of cleanliness, inattentive hotel stuff etc.). I have not eaten...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this comfortable and elegant hotel on the centre of Bamberg. Most things you will want to see are within walking distance. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable as were all public areas. The hotel has beautiful grounds to the front and a nice terrace at the back, staff were very formal....

The hotel is very nice, large room, great bathrooms. The location is great - near all the main attractions in the city and right near the Information Center. Bamberg is a must see destination while in Germany - many tourist overlook it for the bigger, well known cities. Bamberg is absolutely charming. Plan to spend one night in town to...

The hotel itself is great! Very well kept with attention to detail. Our room was spotless and we enjoyed our bathrobes and slippers. Bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the extra pillow available in the room. The staff was very stiff and seemed to look down upon us (maybe because we were in jeans?). There was a birthday party...
