A great place to come and relax for a night or two! The gardens are lovely, and a perfect location to read a book in. It’s fun to explore the first floor of the castle, the wall, and the museum tower. I ga package deal...More
We chose the option of a four course dinner included in our tariff, but whilst it was an excellent meal with a wonderful aspect over the Rhine, there was absolutely no choice for the main course or other courses which was disappointing. The bed was...More
Perfect in every way. Booking was very simple. What we loved: Afternoon coffee on the lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful Rhein; spectacular room; gourmet dinner with very friendly service; watching the morning mist rise over the river; delicious breakfast. . . .the only bad part...More

They had carts for transporting luggage. They were basically golf carts. They seemed glad to transport you. Then get a room on the first floor and you should be good. A lot of the charm of the castle are the gardens that would not be good for someone with limited mobility. Many of the rooms and restaurants with great views would be easily accessible. I hope this helps. The hotel went out of their way to make sure to accommodate us. I am sure they would help your father. It is a once in a lifetime place.
