This is a great value hotel for a central stop in Soest, This is the fifth time I've stayed here & I've always enjoyed my stay. The rooms have been refurbished since my last stay & the room i had was clean & comfortable. The staff are always helpful & friendly and there is a bar right next door for... More

As all the other reviews say, this is a traditional no frills guest house. It is important to note there is no lift and rooms are over 3 floors. Breakfast is buffet style, and unlimited. There is no air conditioning and as already said, the bathrooms are dinky. It is very well placed within the town and a couple of... More

The Satnav in our hire car took us straight to the hotel, nicely avoiding the pedestrian area on the way, although signs were good too. We found this to be a friendly place with helpful staff. Parking was located next to the hotel so nice and easy. Breakfast was good, the rooms were a nice size, although the bathrooms were... More

Stopped here on our first night of a motorbike tour having taken the Harwich to Rotterdam overnight Ferry. We travelled down to the Sorpe and Mohne Dams before heading to the hotel at Soest. Great traditional German guest house and our reason for booking it was the enormous garage to securely store the bikes! Seven bikes, several cars and still... More

This was our first stop over on out motorcycle tour. We booked in and were show to the cavernous garage where we could store our bikes securely. The hotel itself is of typical construction timber frame, but with a modern annex. Rooms are clean and comfortable.and the hotel has a good bar. We did not have any meals as we... More

Clean, friendly, no frills. Breakfast was as expected - typically German and as much as you wanted. Parking is free and well signed from the ring road. Room was basic but spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed and decent shower. Room was tidied & made up each day - TV was large and worked! My wife & I know Soest... More

We were given this Hotel as a recommendation by a fellow friend who had stayed here, and we were very impressed with our stay.We used this as a base whilst we toured the surrounding areas on our motorcycles and this is a very happy and very friendly place to stay.

The hotel was central and the welcome was warm. I travelled with my adult son and his girlfriend. There was no fuss when requesting a room change (the initial room was a smoking room). Our rooms were spacious and although the decor was a bit tired the rooms were comfortable and clean. A buffet breakfast of meats, cheeses, cereals and... More

As part of a tour of Germany, we stated here in August. We stayed four nights in total. The rooms are spacious and clean with standard facilities; the toilet / shower is quite cosy so breathing in to move around might be necessary. As part of a large group of motorcycles we needed garage space and this we were provided... More

A straightforward little hotel that doesn't pretend to be anything else. You get a decent room, nothing fancy but perfectly OK, and a decent breakfast for about the right price. The position's a big plus, about five minutes walk from the station on the street leading to the town centre. There isn't a lift, so if you're going to have... More
