Such a clean, cozy and charming hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Bathroom was modern and upgraded. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the castles which was amazing. The castles were within 15 minutes walking distance. It was the most memorable stay we had in our entire European trip.

Where to begin?! We've never stayed at such a clean, charming or welcoming hotel in all the years we've been holidaying in Europe. The family running the hotel are so attentive, friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, comfortable and the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The view to the castles was amazing. Whilst the wifi was a little ropey,...

This lovely little Hotel has great views of the Castles and the Alps. Make sure you eat in the Restaurant as the evening meal has a great selection of local food. The staff are very helpful and the internet is reasonable for the locale. We had a lovely visit

A simple hotel that does it's best. Great for visiting the nearby castles and the owners do try their best to make you comfortable. No lift so if you had a lot of luggage (some heavy) like we did it was annoying. Our room was rudimentary at best and did have the smell of cooking through it like we were...

This is a recommended hotel in Schwangau. Very close to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, also few kilometres from Füssen, one bus ride away. I gave it four stars because it had no elevators, and very rustic hotel. But all in all,we were a big group of 10 people/family, and we all had a great experience in both the hotel and...

Great hotel close to Schwangua and castles. Building is in great condition, staff is friendly and multilingual. Rooms are decent size and comfortable. Bathroom is fine though the shower is a little small for a larger American (not the smallest I've used in Europe though). Breakfast is usual European buffet with eggs to order. Food in restaurant for dinner was...

This hotel is well placed to walk to the castles, Neuschwangstain and Hohenschwangau. It is a good walk if you are used to walking a few kilometres which we are. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a good buffet breakfast included. We especially loved the bread rolls.

Arrived at hotel in the early evening to find our room key was in a key box (each guest had a code to get their key), and then up to our room which was reasonably comfortable and had a balcony where we could sit and get a partial view of Neuschwanstein Castle. No greeting from any staff - not even...

Good location but directly beside the road. Lots of parking. We had a friendly welcome but the double room was quite small. Very clean throughout. Mattress very firm, which was not good for my back. The food was average and rather over priced. Shocked to see a 10cent bottle of water charged on the bill at 2.90 euros! We went...

The hosts are very friendly and helpful in explaining the surrounding area, they make you feel well come. The room was very clean, breakfast was great. If we ever drive by we will definitely stop here again. There are great walking trails and it's located at the south end of the "romantic road" in Bavaria from Fussen to Wurzburg.
