Arrived at hotel in the early evening to find our room key was in a key box (each guest had a code to get their key), and then up to our room which was reasonably comfortable and had a balcony where we could sit and get a partial view of Neuschwanstein Castle. No greeting from any staff - not even...

Good location but directly beside the road. Lots of parking. We had a friendly welcome but the double room was quite small. Very clean throughout. Mattress very firm, which was not good for my back. The food was average and rather over priced. Shocked to see a 10cent bottle of water charged on the bill at 2.90 euros! We went...

The hosts are very friendly and helpful in explaining the surrounding area, they make you feel well come. The room was very clean, breakfast was great. If we ever drive by we will definitely stop here again. There are great walking trails and it's located at the south end of the "romantic road" in Bavaria from Fussen to Wurzburg.

Nice and beautiful hotel in a magical location, the room is big and comfortable, the only thing we missed in the room was the refrigerator. My advice to anyone who wants to stay in this hotel: you should try the waking path in the black forest. The breakfast was OK, maybe they should think about more variety according to different...

My family and I spent two nights at Waldmann hotel. Since there was 4 of us we got a two-room suite with a balcony that had a beautiful view on the two castles. The rooms were spotless and spacious and the hosts were very hospitable and friendly; they made us feel at home the minute we walked in. I highly...

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way through Bavaria. The hotel was rather outdated, in our opinion. Hard mattresses, extremely thin rugs and towels, and thin walls. Luckily the pillows were pretty good. The best part about it was it is very well located to visit Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles, and offered breakfast and parking...

I can't say enough about this wonderfully quaint hotel. Family-owned and operated, the staff aims to please and offers a wRm and inviting welcome. Very clean, newly renovated rooms gave us a comfortable nights sleep... And our veranda gave us views of 2 castles nestled in the mountains! Breathtaking view!!

Our family of four enjoyed our two-night stay at the Hotel Waldmann--we only wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful, park-like location. We had two adjoining rooms, which were SPACIOUS. Our teens enjoyed having a room and tv to themselves for a change. The beds were comfortable--complete with fluffy, down comforters. We appreciated having a refrigerator in the...
