This hotel is situated just off of the main octagonal square. The area is very beautiful with baroque style buildings and delicious eateries. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the hotel decor was stylish and antique. Our room was a nice size and although it didn't have air conditioning there was a large window which could be opened widely....

Nice little quiet hotel near the center. No chain hotel, with rooms in historical decor of the Grandduchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Enough space for parking. Friendly service, pitty the restaurant has closed.

we arrived at the hotel after riding all day in freezing cold rain - everything was wet however the very well presented front desk didn't seem to mind our dripping wet cloths, shoes etc. Secure under cover parking for the bikes is provided just in front of a very will maintained garden. Our rooms were at the back of the...

Had a lovely stay at the Schlossgarten in October 2013. Went to Neustrelitz searching for whatever was left of the once royal city as well as the connections to other royal families (specially the UK one). Very few is left of the palace complex, but the city centre still has some old buildings, mostly XVIII and XIX century. I got...

Front half of the hotel is the original home. The back half are newly built and renovated rooms. Breakfast was superb and served in the front great room. Rooms are large and comfy. Wi-Fi was free will. I wish our stay had only been longer. Free parking at the rear. Great bike lockup. Two blocks to the central square, great...

I stayed at the Hotel Schlossgarten in Neustrelitz for one night only in June 2013, paying a total of 69 Euros for a double-bedded room with buffet breakfast included. I would have been happy to stay on for longer, but sadly my tight schedule didn't permit that. I have only positive comments to make about the hotel, its facilities and...

The hotel has a progressive pricing system: for each additional night you stay, they charge you 1 EUR less. The base price was 50 EUR/night (low season) and i stayed for 3 nights, so it was 48 EUR/night for me. I regret I didn't ask how much it would cost to stay for 50 nights :) In my opinion, 50...
