We stayed two nights here and though check in was extremely easy (just told her our name and she grabbed the key and showed us the room)- there was no explanation of anything regarding the hotel. She asked if we wanted a reservation for dinner to which we said sure but it wasn't necessary as there was only two other...

We traveled to Attenhorn on business for three days and were delighted to stay at the Burg. The rooms are large and comfortable with very nice views. The staff is really superb - Annette in the restaurant provided the finest service imaginable... she was friendly, enthusiastic and accommodated our requests in the most professional way. Breakfasts are included and are...

Historic landmark restored beautifully with attention to detail. The castle offers both old ambiance with new and comfortable accommodations and dining experience. The tour by Teresa was both excellent and inspiring.

We stayed for the last night of our road trip through Germany. It is a very grand place - inside and out. Our rooms were huge and had furniture that complemented the age of the property. Our view was of the forest behind the hotel which was stunning. We ate dinner in the restaurant and although the food was wonderful...

In the forest a bit away from Attendorn lies the burg hotel. In the middle of the nature perfect to go for sports. Staff members are friendly, breakfast well equipped and the rooms are ok (a bit old equipment). Anyway for me due to the atmosphere very worthy to stay there.

When having the first look to this hotel, it it really impressive: an old castle surrounded by a forest. The location is beautiful, overlooking the small town of Attendorn. The staff in the hotel/restaurant is very friendly. Our room was quite big, but could require some maintenance/painting - it was little old fashioned. On both evenings, we had dinner at...

My wife and I went here as the guest of a couple from Germany. Therefore, I do not know the cost of this experience. I was a little apprehensive since I have allergies and I was concerned about possible musty conditions, but the rooms were very clean and there was no hint of mustiness. We had rooms 60 (very big)...

My family and I have just enjoyed two nights at this beautiful hotel/castle and LOVED it. It was such a wonderful experience for us all. We enjoyed everything about it - the only thing that could have made it better would have been if it had snowed! The castle itself sits upon the side of the mountain overlooking the township...

Had the opportunity to stay here for a few nights whilst in Attendorn for business. I suppose it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, much different from my usual choices. Really impressive and grand structure. It was quite a struggle to get my suitcase up to my (extremely grand) room, as understandably such a historic castle would not have elevators serving every...

I stayed at this hotel for a business related workshop in early September 2014. The hotel is beautiful if you are into traditional places. Rooms are spacious, and the service excellent. The big problem is that internet did not work at all. The free "conference" internet couls not handle more than 5 people at a time, and if you buy...
