From a friendly reception to clean rooms with a view of the river (ask for one with a balcony and view), this is a great hotel to stay at while in the area. KD slip and ferry are literally across the street, great starting point for the Rheinsteig and Loreley hike.

Stayed in small single room at front of hotel overlooking river landing stage. Owner is particularly welcoming to his guests even to the point of serenading them! The dining room was spotlessly clean with breakfast options well displayed.

Super friendly and helpful folks. Loved the hotel!! Front desk helped us with directions and wrapping up the next part of our trip. Room was a little outdated but very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and the views!!!! Loved sitting on the front porch area with a glass of wine and watching the ships sail by.

My wife and I were delighted by this hotel. Right on the Rhine with a wonderful view of the Rhine through a huge windows in the breakfast room. Generous breakfast buffet with a hint of curry in the scrambled eggs! I was impressed with the quality of the furnishings. The parking is convenient if not directly at the hotel. But...

Arrived at around 8:30pm at the hotel, needed to ring a bell to get in, but was promptly welcomed and given my room key. The single room with a Rhine view was small, but had everything I needed. The bed was a little hard, but that seems to be common in Europe. The view was amazing- I loved being able...

We have stayed three times and each just gets better! The owner is gracious and interesting. The breakfast room is huge with many choices - next year they will be serving lunch and dinner. We are sure it will be wonderful! They had upgraded this year and we opted for a balcony room. How beautiful! And the balcony was where...

Excellent refurbished hotel. Large rooms, great views. Very clean, lot of pride by owner in making this hotel one of our best to stay at. Perfect location right next to KD ferry line on Rhein River. Bike rentals and cross river ferry 100 yards away. Breakfast diverse, all the tea and coffee you like! Best of all - internet service;...

The Sangha Family are extremely welcoming hosts. We stayed at Hotel Rhinefels for 3 nights whilst we explored the middle Rhine region. St Goar is very central with various forms of transport and Hotel Rhinefels is a moment walk from rail and river. It was a 20 minute walk to the castle.

The Rheinfels was a perfect choice for us in Sankt Goar. The hotel is clean and well maintained plus Herr Sangha speaks very good English and help some or group (the 80 somethings) with their bags to the higher floors. Breakfast has a lot of choices so you can start you day on the Rhein full and ready to go....

I arrived in St Goar by the KD boat and when you arrive at the landing area the Hotel Rheinfels is exactly opposite the boat landing. I did wonder at first if the location might be a little noisy but it is the complete opposite, St Goar is a very quiet town and the location of the hotel is quiet...
