Here at the moment for a 3 night stay and was pleasantly surprised at the facilities. Very clean and modern offering comfort and friendliness. Rooms not big but well designed. Lounge bar comfy with nice sofas. Reception very helpful. Cheap drinks. Adequate parking. Small sauna and sports equipment in the basement. One of the best of stayed in around these parts. Quilts small but same all over Germany, even though everyone is tall. There is a spare so you can double wrap.

The hotel is conveniently located on the ring road and easy to find. The staff are welcoming, friendly and speak good English. The hotel is modern, nicely decorated and very clean. The rooms are a little on the small size however, they are well furnished and have everything you would need during your stay. There is a good size menu and the quality ofnthe food is high. I would recommend this hotel.

Picked the hotel for the good price - quality ratio and for the location, close to the old city center. Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. The lowest priced rooms are smallish and rather spartan furnished. Small bathroom. I was there in the winter. It was heated, but it was never comfortable. All in all,not too bad. In my opinion it doesn't deserve the top rating it is getting, but it is a nice average hotel. It is top for breakfast; the choice in the breakfast buffet is the biggest I have ever seen!

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. Its a no frills hotel but very clean and well kept. The rooms are basic with a small bathroom with shower (no bath). There's no coffee making facility and I never had a mini bar/fridge. Though wifi is included I found it unreliable at times. There is quite a bit of road traffic noise but this isn't too bad after the normal busy periods. There's enough cupboard/drawer space if you are going to unpack. One annoying feature was that the power point nearest the table was also connected to the room light meaning the light had to be on to use it! Breakfast was ok with hot and cold food available and a better than average coffee machine. The hotel doesn't offer an evening meal service but there are plenty of good restaurants close by. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. For a few days this hotel is ok but not suited for long stays.

We were visiting Saarlouis for both business and pleasure. We were travelling with our 13 month-old daughter as well. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and overall good quality. We enjoyed the breakfast daily continental, including hot food, however an added tax at the end took us by surprise. Despite the additional taxes, the hotel suited our needs. They are currently building onto the hotel. The play area was closed, however there is a nice little park 5 minutes (walking) from the hotel. Noise from the road and construction was a little bothersome during the morning hours, however traffic subsided in the evening and was not a problem. The mini-bar had extra fridge space for our drinks, the bathroom had 2 sinks, and they provided us with a travel crib for our daughter (upon request). The location is fine (about a 8-10 minute walk), near the city center. We walked to the city centre daily, toured the town and some of its local sites, plenty of restaurants, and a Globus (like Walmart) is nearby. Saarlouis city center is very child friendly. They have play areas for children in the Pieper store, play things (like mini merry go rounds for 1) in town, plenty of pedestrian areas, and all of the restaurants had kids menus and high chairs.

It is a small hotel located just 5min away from the city center. It is nice, a bit old but OK. Breakfast is OK. Saarlouis is located near the French and Luxemburg borders. Saarlouis is a very small city. Visit the "Kartoffel Haus" for a dinner (Pork Baden-Baden is good) and there are some nice cafes around the city center. Night-life is also very good (for such a small city...)
