Undoubtedly, this is the best hotel in Verbier and probably one of the best ones in Switzerland. Being a traditional Alpine Chalet, it is filled with luxury, comfort, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Chalet d'Adrien can be a great accommodation both during winter - all ski lifts are close by and there is a the cozy fireplace in the living... More

Twenty years ago we had our wedding breakfast on the sun-drenched terrace of the Verluisant hotel overlooking Verbier and the valley below. Today the Chalet D'Adrien occupies the spot and the view remains as captivating as ever. It was inevitable we would host our anniversary celebration there, and the Chalet d'Adrien did us and our 18 guests proud, setting out... More

I came up to the hotel for a business brunch. I was so intrigued by the property I poked around. I would love to stay here and will check rates when next in Verbier. My gut tells me that it is horribly expensive! The brunch was amazing - so many well prepared dishes - it was an embarrassment of riches!... More

Amazing view on the mountains from our room, we got upgraded even without asking. Lovely staff as you wld expect in a Relais et Chateau. Dinner on the terrace just the two of us on the lounge section, absolutely fabulous and priceless. Rooms very classic deco, a bit old fashion. Swimming pool a bit old but incredible view while swimming.... More

In Verbier for our family and friends is the place where you always feel like going back to. The hospitality, atmosphere, care, politeness and quality are all there and every time. The food is delicious, the staff is very professional, the facilities are immaculately clean and perfectly maintained. It is pricy but totally justified by the overall quality.

We were at a private function that booked out the hotel. We were upgraded to a suite, Santoline, which was great. We had our adult son arrive unexpectedly, and it was not possible to find a spare bed for home in our huge suite, there was lots of space. Breakfast was great as was the service. View from deck was... More

A flawless five day stay made memorable by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The vibe is traditional Swiss (timber chalet style décor), but the service is 5+ stars - friendly and welcoming. Ariana & Sebastian proactively helped us with hiking itineraries and logistics, Christine Deslarzes’ massages at the spa soothed stiff muscles, while Thibault, sommelier Noe Guitton and... More

We had lunch there on a beautiful sunny afternoon and the views are just glorious. The food was excellent and so was the service but it's the views that make this place stand out. The backdrop of the very traditional chalet just completes the whole experience

I had rather mixed feelings about our stay at the Chalet d'Adrien. It is a beautiful traditional style hotel at the top of Verbier. The view from our room was great. The terrace is even more spectacular, with a deservedly very popular Sunday buffet brunch. The staff were extremely welcoming and the drivers of the shuttle minibus were especially accommodating.... Stayed here for a couple of nights in early March. The location to the ski lifts is excellent - right on your door step. The weather was beautiful so having lunch on the sun drenched terrace was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself just lacks something, the spa was very disappointing and the treatments were below standard.

Dear Sir Thank you for your congratulations about your Lunch on the Terrace, for the restaurant and the Hôtel. I hope you remember you have been upgraded in a suite as soon as you arrive at Chalet d'Adrien. The Spa manager does not understand what happened to you with your facial treatment - usually very appreciated - and why you... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In a picture-postcard setting with unbelievable views of snowy peaks, Le Chalet d'Adrien seems to cling to the mountainside. It overlooks Verbier, one of the most charming high altitude resorts in Switzerland. In winter it is an unrivalled ski paradise, and in summer the high mountain pastures are the perfect place for magnificent hikes. Matching wood panelling and fabrics, antique furniture, books and objets d'art scattered around in a homey way all combine to create a charming, cosy atmosphere from which the pristine beauty of the landscape can be enjoyed. The pool looking onto the mountains, and the spa are an invitation to well-being. The restaurants feature the culinary flavours of nearby Italy and showcase Valais products and wines ... more   less
