The Belle Epoch is a very attractive hotel with a very attentive and friendly staff located in spectacular mountain scenery. . All of the public rooms are elegantly furnished, the bedrooms are very generous in size. There's a large heated swimming pool and sauna area. The restaurant is very good, we stayed for three days on a group rail tour.

EVERYTHING, yes everything was wonderful, its close enough to the station to walk, the reception was welcoming and great, the Dining was wonderful using the groups menu, the WiFi came to our room. Yes there were closed to the public, but so what, they were very much open for us and we got the best service possible. The Chef was...

First impressions are that this is a posh hotel. Many of the public rooms are elegant, but the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Starched cloths might be used in the dining room but the staff are not in the least starchy. They all of course speak perfect English. Minor upset with the room: avoid 127 - it has what appears...

Stayed with a group for three nights and the hotel was really closed, but they wanted our money. The food was disgusting and the restaurant was not open on the second day. The bar closed at 7pm on our last night, thank goodness there was a supermarket next door.

This is a large hotel in the centre of the village and within easy walking distance of the rail station. We visited as part of a large group and were unfortunate to stay shortly after the hotel had closed for the period in between seasons - not the hotels fault but some poor planning by our tour company! We were...

Pretty unimpressed as we got there for three nights, the owners had gone away and it was not officially open, The bar was closed on the third evening at 7 o'clock and also there was no restaurant facilities.

We arrived as part of a large group just before dinner time to find that we were the on,y guests, and subsequently discovered that the hotel was actually closed for the season. Our room was huge, although there was a large beam which meant ducking when you got out of bed. As the hotel had opened just for our party...

A most charming and comfortable hotel-restaurant where quality and friendly service are offered in a stunning location. This is why we have returned, every year, for the past twelve years. Shhhh, this is a secret!

We travelled as a couple as part of a large group, spending three nights here. Our room was large, but rather spartan. It opened onto a flat rooftop terrace, which you can step out onto. But this was a communal area and we soon learned to keep our french doors closed, because when we tried to freshen the air in...
