My husband and I were located in room 333, which was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was large and functional. Very good free Wi-Fi in the hotel. Breakfast was simple but quite adequate. Location was outstanding. The proximity to all the beautiful buildings, the station and river was perfect. We never ate at the restaurant so cannot comment about...

Our greeting to the hotel was very unfriendly- we arrived by bicycle and felt like 3rd rate citizens. - ate in restaurant since it seemed to have a good recommendation but food was average at best. - the worst experience was being charged 8 euros for each 1/2 litre of tap water because we didn't buy any wine or a...

Hotel Adler was a lovely place to stay in the heart of an Old City with easy access to Rhine Falls and shopping at Winterthur and Schaffhausen. Its a cosy place and has access to other nice romantic restaurants for dinner

Had a somewhat disappointing lunch there - was lured into the Resturant by the illustrious guilds to which the Resturant is affiliated and had a rather dismal lunch served by non- engaging staff . Wife had the fish knusperli that was over- cooked and dry while the liver was over-salted and sparse on the plate - we chose to have...

Stayed at the beginning and end of a bike tour. Bikes storage area is in a secure garage behind the hotel. Hotel is in an old building. Decor is a bit dated and simple but rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good. People at the property were very friendly and kind. On the last night we ate...

This little hotel close to the Rhein river is downtown in walking distance to beautiful points of interest. Rooms are big enough and clean, amazing big bathrooms. The restaurant of the hotel is excellent and you should at least have dinner there once. Employes are very friendly and helpful.

The great thing about this hotel is the location, right in the centre of this beautiful town. The outside, painted by Alois Carigiet, is a work of art. Inside we found the rooms a dissapointment, clean and basic but not worth the price! The breakfast offers a very limited choice.

While on a biking trip around Lake Constance, we were booked into this hotel for two nights half-pension. I thought the manager was a bit uppity, but not a big deal out of context. Our room was over the front door on a street with comings and goings to the main square (which is a sight to behold!), but we...

The room is clean and quite pleasant enough but a bit old fashioned. Password for the wifi is on the back of the door, (not as insisted by reception staff) on a non-existent card on the table, where there is only an old fashioned tv. The power points are unique to Switzerland and not those typical for Europe. The shower...
