We stayed only one night but were immediately taken with the stunning location in the Cantabrian mountains, the kind and attentive staff, and the property itself. This is a beautiful farmhouse renovated into an incredible little hotel by owners who respect the original building, materials,...More
We loved this place! The setting was amazing, with beautiful views and walks right in the hamlet. It was very quiet with cowbells ringing in the distance. The house was surrounded by a lovely garden, perfect for sitting and enjoying a glass of wine. The...More
We spend eight nights here - and had dinner for seven of those. Amazingly peaceful location and the hotel fits very well into the ambience of the village / hamlet. It is remote, but you have options in nearby La Gandara for basic provisions.

Hi, This hotel looks beautiful and I'd love to stay here. The only thing is though we won't be able to rent a car - is a taxi to / from the airport and to / from Bilbao for a day trip possible and is it expensive? Many thanks, Alex

You really need a car for this place. A taxi from the airport is fine but once you are there you'll need a car to get around as it is in the middle of nowhere!
