Didn't stay here but used it as our village bar as staff always welcomed us and nothing too much trouble. Did have pizza one night as the take away is very popular and I can now see why. Staff showed us the 3 rooms that are available each one a different colour with all mod con's

Despite having to take the bus up the hill from Positano (10-15 minutes) we found Il Pertuso to be a great place to stay for 3 nights. Many places in Positano can only be reached by walking up/down steps, but the bus from Montepertuso deposits you in the center of Positano. And when you get off the bus in Montepertuso,... More

Having never traveled to the Amalfi Coast before we were inclined to stay in Positano proper. However, because we planned this trip at the last minute, there was nothing under $300 a night available near the shops and city center and we weren't willing to spend that much on accommodations. So, we found this B&B, still technically in Positano but... More

We chose to stay here because it's much chepaer than Positano. We were very pleased we did. Monet Pertuso is a village pretty much straight above Poisitano, which we found extremely crowded. Luisa was totally friendly and helpful. A good breakfast is served on your own little balcony, but on the second night we asked to have it in the... More

This is a place you must stay at! My husband and I were on a delayed honeymoon and thought Positano looked like a great place to stay, though pretty expensive so looked close by and Higher above Positano is Montepertuso where our lovely B&B was. As previously mentioned it is run by one family, three sisters and their mum and... More

This was a wonderful experience for 7 nights. The family, consisting of the mother Chiara and daughters Teresa, Luisa, and Francesca, and Alfonso, the father have created a unique customer service model. They spoil where it counts. Like visiting relatives that you like. The facility is simple, roomy and warm feeling with the highlight for us being the great balcony... More

We had a lovely 3 night stay at il Pertuso. Little did we realise when my wife booked that we would be 400 vertical metres above Positano in a quiet village. Thank heavens! As the Italian school holidays have just started and it is mayhem down in the town - wall to wall tourists both staying in the town and... More

I stayed here with my husband in June 2014 as a part of our first wedding anniversary trip. We stayed in Room Teresa. Rooms - clean and tastefully decorated and very spacious! Bed was a bit firm but still comfortable. Bathroom was beautiful and showers were hot and great! Balcony is spacious as well, we would have breakfast every morning... More

Recently there with my partner.Room comfortable and clean. Website indications on how to reach the B&B are not so exhaustive. Once in Positano we discovered that there is another bus which brings you to the B&B. Other alternative is by 40' walking through a road slightly uphill. The breakfast not so special: nothing homemade or typical.Water into the fridge finished and... More

This B&B is great. I'd highly recommend staying here instead of the overpriced and crowded hotels down in Positano. Recently renovated, the rooms here are excellent, good size, and each open onto a beautiful balcony that overlooks the town and sea. Bed was very comfortable and linens good quality; and the bathroom is great, huge, modern and much more comfortable... More
