I stayed at Silver Point for 1 week and although the hotel presents itself well - boutique style, lovely sun loungers and spacious rooms, I was disappointed with the location and my first night there. There were no restaurants or things to do in walking...More
The Silver Point hotel is small and boutique-y, but isn't quite swish enough to be classed as a full-on boutique hotel. Which makes it unpretentious, relaxed and probably more Bajan. My husband and I stayed there for two weeks and this is what we found......More

There is public transportation on the island, the fare is $2USD if I am not mistaken, however the nearest bus stop is 0.5 miles from the hotel. They may not allow you to get on the bus with bulky luggage. You may check out the Barbados airport website(ground transportation) to see if there is a bus route to the hotel area or email the hotel directly. Normally all guests arrive by taxi or rental cars. Taking a bus may be inconvenient and the savings minimal.
