We stayed at the Bear Creek Lodge for a full week in the summer and couldn't be happier with our experience. Despite being the 'off-season' Telluride is beautiful in the summer and there is still plenty to do in town and in the mountains nearby. Bear Creek Lodge is a perfect location to experience everything the area has to offer...

The Lodge is great for families and groups as it has wonderful amenities including the pool, a BBQ area, game room and friendly staff. I would offer that if you are tall or need a quality bed, I'd stay away from #209 - which was a good size unit overall - but the bedding lacked. The one bedroom had two...

We stayed here 5 years ago. I came with, now 2 kids. We stayed in one of the small lodge rooms. It was a double sink bath, nice shower, jetted tub (didn't use), fridge, microwave. Loved the Gondola ride to mtn village, where we walked around, ate, then the gondola to Telluride. So pretty, enjoyed the pool here. Staff were...

We stayed at the Bear Creek Lodge for 2 nights during a 10 day road trip through Colorado. It was an affordable and clean place to stay. The staff was absolutely incredible! Hotel was clean. There is a mini fridge and a coffee pot, jetted tub in bath. Nice fire pit in the back to enjoy the views and toast a few marshmallows! The pool appeared clean. It's not off the gondola but the hotel will drive you to get around the mountain! All in all it was a nice stay! I'd...

Bear Creek Lodge offers rooms that are equivalent to most medium-priced motels (nothing special). But it is inconveniently located on a mountain ledge overlooking Telluride and several miles from town. Personnel at the front desk were not particularly friendly or helpful. There is limited parking, and no breakfast is served. On the plus side there is a full service supermarket...
