The facilities were fabulous and all the pots, pans, plates etc were provided. There is an excellent veranda for rainy yet warmer nights, as well as a...

We had a couple of hiking packs and two day packs so by the time we got these into the room and semi unpacked floor space was at a premium. However, there is a large kitchen/dining/social area...

Great place to stay! We had a group mountain biking the Waikato Trail. We greatly enjoyed the location, ease of bike lockup area, outside area, and cozy accommodations! Was great to have a comfortable and inviting lodge on arrival following a muddy, rainy, but awesome biking day! Thanks for a great weekend! :)

I would classify this place as an upmarket backpackers. Friendly welcome by Kath, the manager. Well equipped kitchen, lovely fluffy towels, hot showers, television, & a great woodburner. Plenty of off street parking. A good find on GrabOne with a continental breakfast thrown in, which was lovely. Only 4 of us there the night we stayed, so ample room. A good...
