We've stayed at Big Bear Frontier several times and it's either a hit or miss when it comes down to the rooms/cabins. So far we have stayed in a one bedroom cabin, one bedroom cabin w/whirlpool and a small studio cabin. All came with a fire place and you can purchase fire wood at the lobby. The employees at the...

The small cabin was fine, but the heater in the room smelled like burnt dust and was giving us all a headache. We asked to have it checked they sent the maintenance man and he said that's how the small cabins are. I called the front desk they said we could switch to another small cabin that had a wall...

Pros: location very near to the Big Bear Village and the lake. The cabin is comfy, fireplace and jacuzzi are great amenities. Sofa bed is relatively cushy. Wifi is included. Cons: the kitchen and bathroom fixtures are outdated, some utensils and dish soap there but not much provided for kitchen like no oil or wooden spoon to sauté; blankets had...

We stayed overnight in a studio cabin with our dogs. The cabin was adorable and a great size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The only issue we had was that we used the fireplace with one solo log (we were very much looking forward to a fireplace room!) and it set the smoke alarm off despite having the flu...

I arranged for a three day stay at one of their properties and was unable to go. The manager of the property was so understanding and helpful. I would make another reservation any time. Many places try to keep a security deposit or sometimes refuse to refund the money at all. Rhiannon was helpful and pleasant and although my card...

Stayed in a downstairs unit. Nice fire place and bed was comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen nook functional but dated. Walls and Ceilings are not too sound proof. You can hear every step, voice, and toilet flush from upstairs. Do not recommend staying here unless you get an individual unit. For the price, would stay elsewhere. There is no beachfront, the...

The rooms were situated rather strangely. When you walked in, into what used to be a mud room or an area to keep skis, there was a twin bed with probably 2 inches on either side. The living, dining, and kitchen spaces were fine. The bathroom was small and dark, especially inside the shower. The other bedrooms had huge beds,...

We had a great mini vacation! We were looking for a pet friendly location and glad we found this place. The nominal pet fee is half of what others wanted to charge. The staff was very friendly and we were able to check in early. We stayed in a studio cabin which had a fireplace and kitchen. It was very...
