Wow. On an impulse, we decided we needed a break from triple digit heat. We could only be gone one night with our family posse descending Sunday. Mammoth 3 hrs mostly sold out and pricey. Central Coast 3.5 hrs and what vacancies available way pricey. Big Bear: 2.5 hrs and reasonable. Eagle's Nest and the Cat Ballou Room were simply...

This was our first stay at Eagle's Nest. Our hosts were Vicki and Mark, the owners for the past 17 years. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with large pine trees for plenty of shade. We stayed in the log cabin property next to Big Bear Blvd. The room was fastidiously well maintained, spotlessly clean, and ready for us...

Innkeepers/owners Mark and Vicky live on the property and work very hard to make sure their guests have a comfortable stay. We booked last minute for the July 4th holiday weekend, so I was surprised at the affordable rate ($100/night for a three-day stay). (Some friends who stayed less than a mile away in an Air B&B cabin paid $300...

When we left after our first stay last year, we were already looking forward to coming back; this was our second stay at this wonderful B&B. Mark & Vicky have a long history of being in the hospitality industry and they know how to make you feel welcome, and at home. The breakfasts are amazing as is the living room...

My wife and I just returned from Big Bear Lake where we celebrated our 25th Anniversary by staying at the Eagle's Nest B&B. We stayed in the Mountain Spring cottage suite which came with a very comfortable bed, 6ft jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Both Mark and Vicki were extremely friendly and were great hosts for our visit. We indulged ourselves...

We came for two days skiing mid week and felt very welcomed and well taken care of at this delightful B & B. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main house and felt as though we had the whole house to ourselves. Breakfast was very good and we were even given some scones to take with us.

Mike and Vicky own and run this wonderful B&B. Warm, friendly, and falling over themselves to be accommodating. We book this online, and when we arrived knew immediately we did good; the main house and our room was exactly what we were wanting in our mountain retreat experience. Mike cooks, and breakfast was always like a gourmet treat. We are...

came here for my daughter's 29th birthday and were greeted nicely by the owners of the property. In hindsight, I would have preferred a place within walking distance to downtown. The Eagle's Nest is a bit far out on a very busy street. Be mindful of that. We had booked the Rio Bravo room because it was downstairs. We like...

We went for a three day hiking trip around Big Bear. The rooms (cottage suites) were charming, quiet and comfortable. The dining/communal area was quaint and pretty. Mark and Vicki are wonderful hosts, catering to everything with dedication and good taste. In short, we would recommend it, and plan on returning.
