I hadn't really read too many reviews (most unlike me) before I booked. The ones I did read subsequently really didn't do the place justice. The setting really is magical. The photos don't really do the place any favours. The setting really is sublime in the middle of a seeming rainforest but at the Of a suburban road. The rooms... More

Truly an amazing tropical rainforest setting, beautifully appointed bungalows with all the creature comforts. Looking for a place to just relax and unwind then this is the place to be. It is hard to believe you are only an hour or so from Sydney. Looking forward to the much talked about meals.....

Having stayed at Kims numerous times over weekends and public holidays, we wondered how our first mid-week stay would compare and were pleasantly surprised to find that it was no different with the added bonus of a few less people on the beach. The same standard and choice of food was available at their buffets - including our favourite fresh... More

The staff are friendly and the setting is lovely but the amenities are in dire need of an update. The buffet dinner was a flashback to the 80s and the food quality was not up to standard. $99 per person and we each only ate on side plate worth out of sheer starvation. It is trading on past glories but... More

I am not sure what room you stayed in, your review says you recently stayed in October 2016, which makes responding a little difficult? However, it is hard to please everyone but I can assure you and everyone who reads this that the majority of guests thoroughly enjoy their dining experience and continuously rave at the freshness of food, the... Anniversary get-away to a delightful resort. On arrival, the reception staff were extremely friendly and efficient, escorting us to our bungalow. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well furnished. The bedroom on the upper level is enormous, you could hold a cabinet meeting in there and the bathroom is fabulous, with a spa and double shower. On the lower deck... More

Stayed a few days after not staying for close to 25 years! good news is nothing has changed, bad news is nothing has changed. Really think for the considerable cost of staying at the resort an upgrade to the rooms is long overdue, as the design which was no doubt fabulous in 1980's is looking a tad tired in 2016.... More

We believe, as do many of our regular guests, that having a place to visit which offers a consistent expectation, means that they know exactly what they will experience when staying with us. At Kims the important things have changed, like continuously upgrading our bungalows and villas, our ever changing menus and food choices, our beverage lists. The best news... More

Kims is hidden away in a protected bay. The bungalows are superbly decorated and the bathrooms are luxurious.
