Nice recreation of a Swiss village square in shopping area with accommodation chalets close by. A worthwhile and surprise break off the road to pop in, look around maybe a bite to eat at the Village bakery or Alpenrose Bistro.

We had a lovely three days at this resort. Yes it is a bit tired looking but overall our room was very clean and large, the beds very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was great. We did not expect such great variety and quality. We were with a group of ten so we had plenty of space to sit...

It was a push to give this "resort" 3 stars. Just stayed for 5 nights with my parents - it was average to say the least. Firstly can I say, customers are second priority here. Staff are mostly rude, meaning very rude & care little for making your stay enjoyable. Pros: - There are lots of activities to do here...

Set in the beautiful Tamar Valley an easy drive from Launceston is this Swiss copy resort built in the late 80's It is comprised of a Swiss village, chalet accommodation, hotel rooms, a lake to paddle on, a golf course and tennis courts. The place could be idyllic but is tired. So are a lot of the staff. The chalets...

Arrived for a weekend away with our family. We stayed in a chalet, it was fine and clean and what we were expecting. We went for dinner at the restaurant and the meal was lovely, so much so we decided to attend in the morning for breakfast. I'd read in the in room brief that vouchers were available from reception...

The resort is like a small Swiss village up in the hills. There is a bus stop out the front but I am not sure where it goes to. There are plenty of things for kids to do with a mini golf course, swimming pool and jumping things. There is also a small golf course and reception centre. There are...

Recently had a short stay in a boutique chalet for 2 nights. Used this as a base to explore the Tamar Valley. I have stayed here a few years ago. The boutique chalet I was in was 569. Check in was a quick and easy. Received a map of complex which easy showed where room was. My only surprise was...

This 'resort' falls short and does not live up to the term. I had a stand-alone cabin that featured all essential amenities and was clean and tidy. Insofar, this stay was fair value for money. However, since the cabins are positioned so close together I had to close the curtains on all sides (like my neighbours) and thus stayed in...

Check in was painfull with a trainee receptionist and the one who was training her running upstairs to see if a room for us was free !!! Room was large and clean but was pitch black due to the heavy dark red curtains being draw in the middle of the day these curtains are very heavy and hard to draw....
