We booked here as part of a Luxury Escapes deal and were allocated room 4, probably the worst in the place, ground floor, in the midst of conference facilities, no view. When we booked in were told we would be booked for dinner but on arrival at restaurant, this had not happened. Food and wine in this restaurant was very...

We purchased this stay as part of a Luxury Escapes offer. I read the reviews and thought, mmmm, why am I staying here? Well, we came and we were impressed. We stayed in the King Spa villa and there is nothing I can say negatively about this place. The villa or should I say - cabin - is lovely. Beautiful...

Have stayed here multiple times. Probably return as we know it well, and if you get the best deal via internet (never pay full price) it is economical. Stayed this time in a Sunset villa (often stay in a Lakeside Villa), it highlighted the different room configuration between the two - separate double bedroom (walled) made the rest of the...

We booked through discovery travel who didn't explain room configurations very well, we were booked into a very small chalet that is unserviced and really unsuitable for a four night stay. Fortunately the staff were very friendly and moved us to a king room in the hotel. Much better. Resort is a short drive out of the CBD but suitably...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was pleasant although the stained carpets were not. The kitchen facilities were poor for the price. But the worst part was the breakfast and dining areas which were grim; the walls appeared to have not been painted for decades, the tables were like something out of a canteen, and the choice for...

There are lots of bad reviews about this place. We stayed via Luxury Escapes as well in the Garden suites. Pros: Good price, included breakfast - very convenient Room size - spacious Facilties - there are a few, the devonshire tea was very nice with scones + jam + cream Location was convenient to launceston, saw milky way in the...

When we booked our trip through Luxury escapes we had high expectations. But found that reality did not match the hype at all. We even booked a Mercedes car through them...and that's another story too. No chocolates or Wine on arrival. Just some vouchers handed over for some house wine. Aah free WiFi, well not in the villas, just on...

Great place with friendly staff and atmosphere. Unlike other guests we were told multiple times about Oktoberfest and also saw it on their website and we stayed on because of this. Buffet breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but was fantastic all the same, especially the potato dish. The only disaapointment we had was being told the dining room was...

Recently have stayed in a small cabin ( villa 516 ) ha ha!! Very neglected condition, safe not working towel rail broken reported but not fixed. Holes in curtains light shinning through. Bed was very lumpy no clean linen for the 6 days we were there only clean towels. Such a shame as the environment is lovely. The floor was...

When we booked our stay here there was no indication on their website that they were holding an Oktoberfest, sitting here now at 22.38 listening to loud music pumping through the resort, paid good money not only for this but a very run down villa, with a lot of old and broken fittings, cant even enjoy the dinner menu, have...
