Yet another fantastic stay at the Coledale Inn! We stayed in room 9 as it was the only large room available and once again everything was good. Comfortable bed, plenty of room for us and the dog, good food and a team of staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Well done Gary, Carol and...

As we have been here for many years I will only say that the staff, rooms, food, bar, location and satisfaction are still brilliant. It was another great winter break for eight friends in the lake district.

We as a family stayed at the Coledale whilst we waited for our rented cottage to come available and was so taken with their evening meals and breakfast we ate there again during the following week. Even though the surrounding area had been devastated by the floods we were met with a very warm and friendly welcome. The rooms were...

Lovely clean, warm well appointed rooms. Tastefully decorated with a good strong shower with plenty of hot water. Friendly welcoming staff. With good pub food in the evening and a choice of continental or full English breakfast. In easy reach of Keswick and with a beautiful view of the mountains. Would definitely return.

Stayed recently on a Saturday whilst walking. A very cosy, welcoming and friendly hotel. The food and drink could not be faulted and the room was spot on and very comfortable. we will definitely be going back. If I could pick one small fault however it would be that dogs were allowed in one of the bars that was supposed...

We've started staying here just after the New Year period each year for hubby's birthday. Originally we booked for 3 nights but the staff recognised us and recommended we join the 'members email'. This saved us quite a bit of money so we decided to stay an additional night which worked out cheaper than staying for 3 nights (including dinner,...

We booked the Coledale Inn for our first wedding anniversary and we loved it here. We were very lucky to get one of the rooms at the front with the gorgeous bay windows overlooking the garden and beautiful views. My Mum had arranged for a present to be delivered to the Coledale Inn so it could be handed to us...

Stayed for a couple of nights after eating at the Coledale in the past. Hotel in a great location, staff were all really friendly and helpful as we were late back on the night to the hotel. The free round of golf at the Keswick Golf Course is a must for any golfer, what a course.

Thank Darren M
