We are here for a vacation in Nay Pyi Taw. A 3-star rated hotel but received a 4-star standard service. The hotel itself is situated in a very large compound so our rooms to the main lobby and dining hall was a long 5 minutes walk. Anyway, they provide Buggy cars for transportation for rooms and lobby. Nay Pyi Taw... More

I was staying in room 608, the room is clean, quite and nice, but the shower no hot water, lucky now is not cold season. The Breakfast quality no good, very limited choices and the bakery items taste like 3 to 4 days old. Not fresh. So, we went out for breakfast somewhere else. It was OK when my last... More

Good value and enjoyable stay. Room was fine and Internet worked most of the time. No pool or gym but hotel still being finished. Very friendly staff. Food could have been more adventurous and spicy but did manage to get green tea salad one afternoon.

As many people describe it, Nay Pye Taw, the new capital of Myanmar is sort of a ghost city. A perfectly planned and beautifully built city is waiting to be decorated with presence of human being. Right now, it is empty, well..almost! NPT has everything waiting for you, and in excess. Wide multilane roads without cars, lots of empty space... More

This is a very pleasant ( and cheap) hotel located in the new capital city of Myanmar. There are several types of accommodation, ranging from villas around an artificial lake to more standard rooms. It is spread out over a large area, so be prepared to walk a bit to get to the restaurant for breakfast (they do have golf... More

Staff are friendly and ready to help. The rooms are spacious, with good amenities and the compound is nicely landscaped. A number of government small/private meetings are held in this hotel. Good buffet breakfast! A choice of cocktails and snacks at night.

Excellent service with friendly staffs! But need to maintain regularly!! We check in room 646, but my bed was broken when I sat on that!! So we needed to change the room!! I was lucky not to have hurt with that century old bed!! Then hotel manager apologize me at our new room for the accident with complementary fruit platter!!... More

This is my second time in Nay Pyi Taw, and unlike the other hotel I stayed in last August, this is way better than before. I stayed here for our conference meeting. The staffs are friendly. The rooms are nice and comfy. However, I did not enjoy the food that much so I had to go to other restaurants at... More

This is a very spacious hotel as most hotels are in the capital city of Naypyidaw. The rooms are large and staff are very friendly. The rooms were good for the price but the maintenance especially that of the bathroom was not upt to the mark. Restaurant served fantastic food at reasonable price.

Stayed at Hotel Amara for one night during a business trip. Driving into the Hotel compound the surroundings and the main building looked beautiful and inviting. Unfortunately, the interior of the rooms didn't. Recycling slippers is not very appealing. For a relatively new hotel the rooms were already showing wear and tear, and this impacts the experience. The breakfast buffet... More
