My stay started off nicely, I arrived at 2h00 at night, and managed to get a discount on my room. 20$ instead of 50$. This seemed reasonable as I was the only guest and I arrived so late. As I enjoyed the first night I double checked again the next day if I could get the same room rate again the next night. The English skills of the staff at the reception was very poor, so I wrote it down on a piece of paper 'can I get the same room rate as last night 20$'. This was confirmed very friendly. Upon check out I was charged the full amount, 100$ the manager was consulted and he was adamant that discounts are unheard of in Myanmar, he did not even budge when I showed him the paper where it was written black on white. The staff was nowhere to be found suddenly. They even wanted to charge me 2$ for use of a shower cap.…

What was outstanding from the Arrival until we left was the friendliness of the Hotel staff. We were served very well and the staff was extremly helpful. The 2-room bungalow I had was large and clean. It offered all necessary things for the Business traveller including WLAN. Located is Hotel in the Hotel Zone. You need a car to go to customers, visit sigthseeing Points or any other activities. What is nice you will not find any traffic jam in the area, you rather will search for other cars ;-)

Rooms come in a few different styles - mine was by a small (artificial) lake. The room was ok, but the curtains were too thin, so lots of light came in. There was tea and coffee in the room, but no kettle - I was told you could request hot water! The TV reception in the room was very poor (weak signal) and only about 8 channels. Breakfast - no menu - but a choice of western or Asian. Western was 2 eggs and some toast. However the staff I spoke to later were very helpful and chatty (the original check in staff could hardly speak any English at all) and at check in you have to pay for your room in advance in cash (and they are fussy about the quality of your USDs!). Also, they didn't give me a receipt for the room then or when I checked out - but I did forget to ask! Overall, not bd value, but room for improvement.…

Rooms are with bungalow type and very good in privacy. Staff are very friendly and with reasonable room price compare with other hotel. All the aminities are very clean and still look new. There is also a room with Myanmar traditional style, so feel like to stay in the village. The internet connection speed is same as in other area, but much faster than compare with Inle and Bagan area. Rooms are come with free wi-fi but need to login different password with login name.
