When i stayed here for a few weeks in the summer of 2021 I was a little worried about the place being so close to the highway, noise was NO problem, i could not hear a thing in my room. I loved the room, the walk in shower was fantastic, the lighting was great and the counter was big and overall it was not cramped like some hotel bathrooms. I liked the Kuerig coffee makers and the desk was really cool with the under counter lighting, I loved this room! In the morning i would come down and get a bag of breakfast which was great, yogurt, breakfast sandwich, juice, fruit. However....my back hated the mattress and when i inquired about anything that could be done i was told " all the mattresses are the same " and the silence that followed seemed to say to me " tough luck bud, we can't help you ". It was a sad moment, right up until that moment i was loving this place. If you like firm mattresses this is the place for you! Clean, new, great rates, nice rooms, I would recommend this place to a friend.

I was looking for a hotel for several weeks for a business stay in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. We decided to stay at the Comfort Inn in Point Edward which is a suburb of Sarnia. The room was inexpensive so I was wary of the room condition. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised! The room was very modern and very new. The rooms had a king size bed and were very well appointed. My room however, did not have a tub but instead a shower. When I asked the lady at the front desk if they had rooms with tubs she immediately located one for me, phoned her manager, giving her the details of my stay and although the room with the tub was more money they let me have the room at the same rate. . The lady at the front desk, Pooja, was very efficient and very helpful. Her professional manner indicated that you were going to be well looked after staying here. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Sarnia.

I stay in a hotel frequently when visiting family in Sarnia but never stayed at the Comfort Inn. I would definitely stay here again. The person checking me in did not wear a mask which was beyond surprising to me. The building is in excellent shape with everything looking clean and modern. I stayed in room 112 and I loved my room. Everything look modernized, fridge, microwave and Keurig. Super comfort king size bed with loads of pillows. In the morning you do get breakfast but with COVID they are given you a breakfast sandwich to heat up, yogurt, muffin, fruit, juice and coffee/tea. When i stayed it was very quiet in the hotel and I stayed for 2 nights. The only negative thing I could say was that being close to the desk I could hear the night staff getting things ready for breakfast, it was noisy and woke me both mornings at 5:30 and I never saw the garbage outside being emptied and it was overflowing both days onto the side walk at the entrance. I stayed for $150. for 2 nights taxes in. Not sure if internet is offered free, code was not wrote on my card and not mentioned, i had very little use for it as I was super busy

Dear Kym sorry for the late reply to your review. Thanks for taking time for your detail in this review. I am sorry you were disturbed by the breakfast preparation. I will definitely put note on your file so that next time we book you in another area of the hotel. All of our king rooms are equally as beautiful as 112 so I am sure you will be comfortable in another area. Our beds are super comfortable and we get many compliments. WIfi is included so we will be sure you have a code in the future. We hope to see you back again when we can make your stay even more pleasant.

I was presently surprised by this hotel. It has been completely redone including all the guest rooms and bathrooms. Apparently it was redone to bring it up to Four Points Sheraton standards. I would believe it. This is far better than I would expect from the Comfort brand.

Dear Pundit705 Thank you for choosing the Comfort Inn Sarnia . We are so happy that you liked our new look and enjoyed your stay with us. We are getting rave reviews on the outcome of our renovation. Comfort Inns are seeing great renovation across the brand but our owners intended for us to stand out and out guests are reassuring us that we do. The location is very easy to access from the highway heading east to London or Toronto and west to the US. I am ecstatic that you mentioned both the cleanliness and the service. Our team strive to make everyone feel welcome at the hotel and he housekeeping team work diligently to make the hotel clean which is very important especially in these times. We definitely hope that you will make Comfort Inn Sarnia your choice of hotels when in the area and look forward to meeting you on your next stay.

This place is totally modernized and updated on the inside, but the outside can fool you into thinking it's not. We arrived late at night, during a blizzard, got the last room, and was welcomed by 2 super sweet employees. I felt like I had come home to Grandma's house. If I ever get blocked by customs again, I'll go back.

Dear Blueeyesbrown89 I love your review. Guests always say we make them feel so welcome so the analogy of "come home to Grandma's house" is perfect. We are fully modernized but with a homey feel. You made my day! I hope it does not take a blizzard and getting turned away at the border to bring you back our way. Please be sure to mention that you reviewed us when you return. I would love to personally welcome you back...
