This is a little gem of a b&b and a real touch of class. Jo our host was very welcoming and keen to provide her guests with a positive experience. Our room was a real surprise, beautifully presented and more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast was more than sufficient for a long day on the hill. All in...

This is a perfect alternative to staying in a busy place like Keswick, friendly, clean, quiet surrounded by beautiful views. Delicious breakfast served by Joanne the owner, no pressure to rush off once eaten. Very relaxing overnight stay, easy to find and pub across the road, perfect location.

Ideal for lovers of the Lake District. Views to die for and across from a traditional pub!! What more could anyone ask for!! Spotlessly clean and comfortable room with good en-suite facilities. Breakfast kept us going for the day!! Run by a lovely couple who even provided sunscreen for our bike ride in this unexpected heat wave!! Couldn't fault!!

This was a 4 night family vacation for an 80th birthday celebration. Location means you can just walk out the door and hike the fells all day (Cat Bells, Barrow, Dale head, Grasmoor..) or even into Keswick or Braithwaite and then spend the evening at the Inn across the street. Rooms were tastefully decorated and spotless every day. Breakfast was...

Having driven home this morning I thought I would add my review. We have just had a wonderful 4 night stay at Swinside Farm House. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful location with easy access to the fells but also an easy 45 minutes walk (3 miles) into Keswick (or less than 10 minutes in the...

Excellent B&B just outside Keswick (About £7.50 by taxi by the way). Food was brilliant (there was even fresh berries for breakfast!) and the hospitality was great, a very welcoming couple. Clothes were dried for us and a nice little tea set in the room. No complaints whatsoever.

This was a charming bed and breakfast and gave us the opportunity to explore a beautiful part of the lake district as part of our journey. A good nights sleep and great breakfast set us out on the road in great spirits. We plan to revisit in the...

We stayed here for two nights early in September. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable, with TV, kettle and provisions, there was plenty of hot water, and the house was spotless. Jo, the proprietor was extremely helpful and her cooked breakfasts, using grilled local produce were excellent. We were called before our stay which we found both helpful and...
