Used to visit about 40 years ago and it's changed a bit since then, much like myself! It's got a few gins and beers and the food being served looked good. We had the Fish Pie which was delicious and the views were fabulous too.

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Swinside Inn... what a gem!!!!! The weather has not been kind to us but the hospitality made up for it. We stayed in the Causey Pike room with spectacular views. Our room was fine (smaller than theirs) nice and clean with nice clean bedding and towels. Good shower and toiletries provided too. Tea coffee and hot choc along with biscuits in the room. Our deal included a...

The rooms were just what you need whilst on a short break - tea/coffee making facilities, tv, hairdryer, toiletries. Ate in the restaurant on the 1st night and we sat nr a roaring log burner. Can't say anything negative about this place; one of the best locations you could have, roaring fire and really nice staff. Had food and drinks during our stay, dinner was brilliant and one of the best cheese boards ever! The beauty of The Swinside is there are great walks and due to its location you are really encouraged to walk...

A traditional dog friendly pub. This is in a picturesque part of the Lakes with lots around to see and do and the hospitality is excellent with good food and drinks to accompany. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back again.
