We stayed only one night in this guest house. Location is ok, the rate is ok, but the cleanliness was terrible. We found the soaps, tissues, shampoo, dental floss on the ground, in addition of the dirt of course. We ask if they could clean at least clean the trash they said no. The evacuation of the shower was broken...

We went there for New Years which was insane!! Apparently Chiang Khan is THE place to go for Thai tourists over New Years, the street was so packed you could barely move! There were very few foreigners there and it was great walking around and observing how Thais like to spend their holidays. The woman at the guesthouse was very...

Very accomodating, we were seven motorbikes on tour. Phone call was made to the guest house and we were informed thay yes they could accommodate us and we could park our motorbikes inside off the street on the ground floor. Boots removed to go upstairs, fairly steep stairs. At the top of the stairs was a toilet block, two bathrooms...

"Old wooden house next to the Mekong" doesn't mean charming. Quite uncomfortable, paper-thin walls, extremely noisy on the week-end, few common bathrooms for too much (a bit sordid) rooms.
