From the moment I arrived at Le Presbytere I felt an overwhelming sense of beauty which permeates everything that Rommie and Sander do. This included my beautiful room overlooking the mountains and Rommie's extraordinary garden. So much love and attention to detail has been motivating Rommie and Sander's work and it is clearly apparent. The breakfast included in the price...

I had homey and calm room at top floor, where you can see lambs, donkey and dog just chilling on field. View from window is beautiful and at night you can watch stars trough the roof windows. Room is spacious and decorated with good taste both modern and old way, as is the whole building. Shower and toilet are separated...

I traveled to Bugarach by myself and relly did not know anything about the region. Upon arrival Rommie greeted me with a lovely smile and gave me a tour of the whole beautiful place. She then gave me some fascinating literature to read on Bugarach. The room was so beautiful. I had a view of the mountain Bugarach. Sander is...

A great place to stay in a region with multiple possibilities for walks in the mountains. Modern and comfortable, delicate and personal. Sander is a magnificent chef. Great garden with a view to Pech de Bugarach (1230 m). Rommie has all details in hand in a very sympathetic and warm way.

Had a great time with friends and felt right at home with Rommie and Sander. The food was excellent, the company grand and the surrounding setting was perfect. A hidden jewel with great roads for cycling and a rental dog in case you need one for hiking.

We were on a camping holiday in June and spent part of the time in this region of France. My walking guide on the Cathar Way described this B&B so beautifully, that I was almost hoping for an excuse to have a night away from the tent. The changeable June weather obliged and we booked ourselves in and I am...

There really is nothing more to be said than the title. The rooms are delightful. The setting is stunning. The care of Rommie and Sander is outstanding. The garden is gorgeous. The food is Michelin quality. Do not come here expecting it to be on the road, or near, to anywhere. But, if you want understated charm and peace away...

“Bedroom on top floor is exquisite. I saw two other rooms, which were equally fabulous. I liked the space and calm of the top floor bedroom though.”
