A great hotel for those who need a place to rest and sleep for a night or two . The location a little bit out of reach from the beach , but good location for travelers on route, just opposite the forum Roman and on Appia . Very clean and delicate rooms, many with balconies . Super dinner.

We stayed as part of a tour around the Anzio area and this was our first night before going north to Anzio. It was off season and we were the only 5 guests in the hotel but they were very accommodating and did us a lovely meal and breakfast.

The only reason that this didn't score excellent was the difficulty in getting a twin room rather than a double as I think they only had the few rooms made up for us and were reluctant to change it until after some persuasion.

We had a lovely time here after a bitter sweet moment of scattering ashes on a war grave. After the visit we walked the short distance to this hotel. The sun was shining and we sat on the beautiful courtyard. We shared stories and had a few drinks. Very nice visit

Beautiful hotel, modern, clean and fresh, but still very Italian. The staff were lovely and the food in the restaurant was great. The town is just very small! The hotel is opposite the Roman ruins and the whole place is very picturesque.

This is a very friendly hotel with a very interesting architecture that makes it look like a Roman villa. The family who owns it runs it and they do a very good job. There are small things that could be improved but they deserve five stars in my rating because they truly put a lot of effort into pleasing their customers and they deserve praise for that. I find service is always neglected even in some beautiful places I visited. Not here. This is both a nice structure and service is outstandingly nice and friendly. And it is also very good value at 55 euro per night for a single room or 60 for a double in high season like July. You can't beat that value in the area. All rooms have air con which is a must because the summers are hot here! Beware of cheaper places in the area which won't have air con. The pool is small but nice but they should really clean it more often. Breakfast is truly classical Italian with a very nice croissant and cappuccino or espresso. I suppose if you asked for more they would cater to it but it would be nice if they could add a tiny bit to make breakfast more "continental" maybe a small buffet. But overall they cater mostly to Italian families and businessmen and they seem to have lots of regulars which is a guarantee in itself. We have not tried the restaurants but heard it is good too. Well done to this very local and nice family business. I hope they keep going for many years and we will definitely go back to support them.
