A beautiful and unique guesthouse set in a quiet village but close to an excellent gastro pub, Hilltop Barn provided everything we needed. Wifi access everywhere, water and tea making facilities in the room, views over the countryside. The breakfast! Everything you could ever want and then some, with alternatives for gluten or dairy allergies, vegetarian options and friendly hosts....

We stayed here for one night with family. This place is by far the most beautiful B&B we've ever stayed in. The owner Bill was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and we had a spa bath in our room which was a treat. After we'd eaten out that evening we were able to come back and watch...

We stayed here on an over night stop wish we had stayed longer. Bill and his wife could not have made us more welcome and were the perfect hosts. When we checked in we were greeted and welcomed in as if it was the third or fourth time we had been. We were shown up to our room which was...

Hilltop Barn was a great choice.Beautiful place to stay and great hosts. Shans breakfasts were great and Bills local knowledge was really helpful. Room was very comfortable and we had a lovely view of the garden. The barn is located in a very quiet village and is ideally situated for exploring the local area. We would definitely stay there again.

We stopped at Hilltop barn for 2 nights.on arrival we were offered tea/coffee and cake. Which was lovely. We booked the willow room which had a view over the back garden and the paddock where the owners kept their horse and a few sheep along with a brace of peasants. We slept well as it was so peaceful the only...

This was the second visit to Hill Top Barn & it did not disappoint. Bill & his wife are perfect hosts, the accommodation is spacious extremely tasteful & well maintained. The barn is set in its own lush gardens surrounded by a menagerie of various farm animals. The whole is set in a tiny quintessential Dorset Village which even sports...

We had a 2 night stay here and from the minute we arrived everything was simply perfect. The owners couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We were offered tea and cake upon arrival but regrettably we didnt have time to take up the offer. Breakfast was a plate of fresh fruit followed by a...

Taken over by groom's relatives for a couple of nights. Wonderful place, wonderful people and a great breakfast in a beautifully restored old barn. Highly recommend for a R&R. Difficult to find but then that was the best part of being there.

Amazing place. Beautiful converted barn. Very clean, comfortable rooms all individually designed. Lots of personnel touches by Shan and Bill. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We were given tea and cake on arrival then shown to our rooms. Bill went out of his way to give me another room because I...

Clean, comfortable, friendly with delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended (bring your own sunshine...) We stayed in the Willow room which is a little small but lovely and quiet as it is at the back of the house with views on to field with horse, rabbits etc The Botany Bay pub is within easy walking distance and serves excellent meals.
