My wife and i stayed here for her birthday weekend . It is a beautiful property very homely with a great log fire and our room was fabulous. Sandra and Chris are very welcoming and informative and even arranged for my wife to be cooked an evening meal which wasn,t on the menu. The food and breakfast were great !...

The hotel is in view on Mt. Snowdon has a very nice garden with what would be a pleasant outdoor decked area. The hotel dining and lounging is very comfortable and accommodating. The whole experience was very relaxing. The food is very well presented and very tasty.

We booked for just one night here and wished we had stayed longer! The night in question was actually 'New years eve' as we wanted a break away but didn't fancy a large hotel with lots of 'noisy' celebrations going on!! Tir y coed was perfect. A low key celebration had been planned, a lovely meal. With a tasting of...

With a warm wriggly puppy welcome, Tir y Coed is a gem in snowdonia national park. With rooms decorated individually, a roaring log fire and nothing too much trouble, Sandra and Chris have a winner of a restaurant and country house

Found Tir y Coed on internet whilst looking for somewhere to stay near Bodnant Gardens. We were the only guests in this 12 roomed hotel and consequently we were upgraded and had a large bed sitting room overlooking gardens and countryside. As the owners were in the process of appointing a chef we were asked whether we wanted to eat...

This was a last minute break booked only 24 hours before, we had not read any reviews so went with an open mind and thought it looked a nice little hotel. Our expectations were surpassed as nestled in amongst beautiful surroundings is this beautiful hotel. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were made to feel 'at home' straight...

My friend and I spent the night at the Tir y Coed Country House after having spent the previous night at an awful hotel further north. This house is in a beautiful location and the owners as well as the manager are just wonderful. We spent some time with them at the bar after dinner and were just amazed how...

This was the best place that myself and my friend had visited in a long time! We stayed in the new suite above the bar, where it was just like a kingdom when I saw it at first sight! We stayed here for one night as the previous hotel we were at was awful! This place stood up to their...

We stayed here 2 years ago and it surpassed our expectations from the food, the cleanliness, the comfort the decor and attention to every little detail. The house is situated in an amazing country setting close to Conwy and Snowdonia National Park. The hosts were charming and entertaining which is also why we decided to return. The new owner is...

We visited again in mid July, after Chris & Sandra had taken over from Ian & Alan. The house and its ambience & elegance obviously hasn't changed and although we miss Ian & Alan's quiet style both Chris & Sandra seem determined to make the place work for them. But they need time to do the improvements they want to...
