Liz as a host was welcoming, friendly and so helpful. The location of the b&b is ideal for visiting Walcot Hall, only about a 15 minute walk. The rooms are incredibly clean, comfortable and beautiful. I would highly recommend.

Stayed here for one night for a wedding at Walcot Hall and would highly recommend it. Liz and Marlon were superb hosts and looked after us really well; felt like a home from home. The farmhouse - beautifully renovated - was immaculate and the room lovely - big, light and airy with a comfy bed and large, spotless bathroom. After a late night at the wedding the cooked breakfast more than hit the spot. An outstanding B&B experience so thank you Liz and Marlon.

We had a great stay at this bnb in a newly converted 300 year old farmhouse. Walkable from Walcot Hall closer to Powis Arms. Liz and Marlon were very kind and hospitable, running us to the local pub and Hall . Great breakfast, lovely people

Stayed August 2017.
rooms excellent, I stayed in the top floor but was shown all of them.
Every one has modern en suite and top quality beds and bedding.
I often stay at Marriott hotels and the rooms easily meet those standards.
The toiletries are deluxe .
The owners Marlon and Liz are friendly , happy to leave you to your own devices or chat and dispense local knowledge.
Food is very good, with a lot of produce from the garden, so it is very fresh.
A very enjoyable place to stay, with a large fireplace and areas downstairs to put up your feet and relax.

Lower Farmhouse in Lydbury North ( a lovely little village with an interesting church) is an old farmhouse fully refurbished to a very high standard, modern but extremely homely and comfortable. Liz the owner is lovely and very friendly with nothing too much trouble for her even providing tea and delicious cake on our arrival.
Myself and a friend were going to see Cliff Richard in concert at Walcott hall which is walking distance from Lower Farmhouse. We had a fab time only staying for the one night but it was so relaxing it felt longer. We also had a great breakfast with lots of choice.
I couldn't recommend staying at Lower Farmhouse more highly.

Wow what can I say. Amazing hospitality from start to finish. Marlon and Liz are perfect hosts and Rita was lovely too. Rita offered to drive us to our wedding venue (not part of the service)

Breakfast was 5 star too

Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night, as we were attending a pop up dining event nearby. Liz welcomed us and showed us to our room and offered us tea or coffee. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, luxurious bedding and an en suite with a great shower. Breakfast the next day was absolutely delicious and we got to meet Marlon as well. We liked it so much we are due to stay again soon!

We stayed with Marlon and Liz for 2 nights while attending a wedding at Walcott Hall and could not recommend the Lower Farmhouse highly enough!

It was just the most wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. The rooms are warm and inviting with big comfortable beds, private bathrooms and lovely bright windows to let in natural sunlight.

On top of all of this, the breakfast personally prepared by Marlon and Liz each morning is exceptional - delicious, hearty with all local ingredients.

The real highlight of the Lower Farmhouse is the warm and caring hospitality from Marlon and Liz. Thank you for having us and we hope to come and see you again some time soon!
