Detailed Reviews
We had a very comfortable, immaculately clean and well laid out double room, overlooking the garden. We rarely have a full English breakfast, so that was a real treat. Delicious! Josie is a welcoming host, with a wry sense of humour. Because the village is somewhat off the beaten track, it is a bonus that the local pub is pleasant and does very decent food, and the community shop sells newspapers, both a couple of minutes walk away. If you want a base in this lovely area, would highly recommend Staddlestones.

What a find! Josie was so accommodating to all our needs especially as our 2 year old Grandson was staying with us while his parents attended a wedding at Walcot Hall only a 15 mins walk away. The bedrooms were very comfortable, extremely clean and very welcoming. Breakfast was superb, Josie caters for all dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. A bonus in such a small village, The Powis Arms, is a short stroll from the B&B which offers good evening food & drink.

Staddlestones offers comfortable accommodation in a lovely home placed within a beautiful, meticulously maintained garden. Josie could not have been more warm, welcoming and helpful. And her breakfasts are prepared precisely to order!

Stayed at Josie's B&B for a long weekend. Lovely homely, peaceful place to stay, spotlessly clean, pleasant room with very comfortable bed - slept well. Josie is wonderful and welcoming, and made us delicious hearty breakfasts, accommodating dietary needs. Also enjoyed her garden for a couple of hours reading on a sunny afternoon. The surrounding area is beautiful - rolling hills, great for walks - and there's a very good pub for food a few paces up the road.

Lovely, relaxing 2 night stay. Made to feel very welcome by owner who is a font of local knowledge and delightful company. Very clean with comfortable bed and the freedom to come and go as you please. Would definitely go again.

Josie is spectacular, immaculatly clean place to stay, beautiful garden and spot on location for the hall.
I opted out of breakfast as I knew I wouldnt be able to face it after a wedding the night before but it smelt spot on the following morning.
I would defo return if I needed to visit the area again.

Josie is such a wonderful person. We were so happy to stay at her house. Thanks so much Josie, we think you're amazing. Even though seemed a bit under the weather right before we left, we will be coming back. Great place to stay. Also great food and cold beer at the pub down the street.

I had a really excellent stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Josie.
My stay was very peaceful and enjoyable. The village and the area are beautiful.
The house is spotlessly clean - and the breakfast was delicious -. The owner, Josie, is very knowledgeable about Shropshire - & recommended many great places to visit.
