Palazzo del Senatore is born from the restoration of the ancient residence of Visocchi-Bartolomucci family. It's located in the very heart of Atina, a charming old town, midway between Rome and Naples, close to Montecassino and bordering the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. Twelve rooms, each one designed with a unique approach. Three suites and three junior suite on the main floor, elegant, cozy and fully equipped, with antique furniture and fine draperies. The attic will envepole you in an intimate and warm atmosphere, with bathrooms in colored marbles, wooden floors and the scenic roof-top terrace to enjoy the view on the Valle di Comino.

A centuries old palazzo lovingly restored with modern conveniences while retaining beauty and charm of the original architecture. The owners Daniele and Alessandra are wonderful professional hosts who truly care about providing a memorable experience. The rooms are large clean and comfortable, and elegantly designed. Wonderful views from the terrace. Definitely recommend!

My visit to Atina and to the fantastic Palazzo Del Senatore was one of the best hotels in Italy, on a long trip driving south from Liguria. In fact, when I got into bed I thought this: "Finally a hotelier in Italy who understands the importance of a great mattress." it wasn't the old style hard kind usually found in hotels, but supportive, cloud-like and so comfortable. I looked out at the mountains and was so happy I found such a gorgeous hotel. The owners are the nices,t warmest, most hospitable people and treated me and all guests so wonderfully. The terraces, the setting, the rooms, the sophisticated yet relaxing vibe....go to Atina and stay here; It's all very special.

Palazzo del Senatore, Piazza Garibaldi, Atina - what a fabulous hotel. My wife and I have now stayed in this beautiful building on three occasions (twice in July this year). On every visit to the beautiful town of Atina the hotel proprietors, Alessandra and Daniele, have always given us a warm welcome. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, mixing classic architecture with new technology, fixtures and fittings (the bathrooms being a great example). The hotel’s terrace with its breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside is a great place to have an al fresco breakfast as well as evening drinks, as you watch the sun set. We look forward to returning to Atina and staying in Palazzo del Senatore. Thank you Alessandra and Daniele. Greg & Jane McCaffrey

This is by far one of the best hotels that I have had the pleasure to stay at. Daniele and his wife Alessandra go above and beyond to make sure your stay is fabulous and are extremely helpful in giving info on the local areas and things to do. The Valle Di Comino is an excellent area to get off the touristy main trail and do some fantastic hiking, biking, exploring, etc and The Palazzo Senatore THE BEST place to stay at while enjoying the history, culture, fresh air and peacefulness of the valley.

We stayed for 1 night in this luxury hotel in the small, pretty, town of Atina, as a stopover between the Gargano national park and Rome Fiumicino airport. The hotel certainly exceeded our expectations with a spacious, well appointed, clean and luxury room. The hotel is also very easily reachable and we could park our car right in front of the hotel (for free). The owners and all the staff we met were very friendly, professional and helpful and also provided us with interesting stories about the history of the palazzo. Breakfast was in buffet form with a good selection of many different and very tasty breakfast items, including local specialties. With several large rooms being used for the breakfast area, sufficient distance between all people could easily be kept. We would certainly consider staying here again when next in this part of Lazio.

We visited Atina for 2 nights to celebrate a friends birthday. The hotel was fantastic, beautiful building that has been modernised but has retained many original features, amazing terrace for relaxing and breakfast and the views across the valley from the roof terrace were fantastic! Daniel, Alessandra and the team we’re great and looked after us very well. We will be back.

The Palazzo del Senatore is a historic building that has been wonderfully renovated. The views form the terrace and the roof are sublime, and they are a wonderful place to sit with some food and wine brought from a local eatery. The staff was very helpful and highly accommodating. We stayed in the furthest room, which made the WiFi spotty, and the breakfast was just okay. Other than those minor comments, it was a wonderful affordable place, which is well-situated for exploring the Comino Valley!

Our Italy vacation focused on biking the Amalfi coast, boating to Capri, walking though Pompeii streets, experiencing Naples nightlife and visiting Rome's iconic sites. When we decided to rented a car and drive through the national park area, I really didn't expect this leg of our trip to be so memorable. It ended up being one of my favorite trip memories and would love to return to Palazzo del Senatore to spend more time in the area. The hotel is simply beautiful and the view from the patio was amazing. The owner, Alassandra, is the perfect host and made sure we didn't miss the festival of San Marco of Atina. He clearly loves the town and area, explained the biking and hiking opportunities. There are WWII sites for history buffs and cheese and winery tours. I really cannot wait to return here. Our only issue was the air-conditioning was inadequate but we opened the windows the fresh air sufficed.

The hotel is exceptionally good. Del Senatore is owned by a very nice couple Alessandra and Daniele, they are very keen on the guests. The owners cteate a very personal atmosphere and see each guest as unique. I can highly recommend Palazzo del Senatore! Excellent for an active vacation like biking, hiking and explore nearby areas. Nice restaurants one step from hotel as well. Excellent located!
