The location on the Gulf and the intercoastal is great and a great concept of a golf cart only resort on an island is what is needed for a low key vacation. We stayed in a Island Bay Villa that was right on the beach...More

We come here several times a year for weekend stays. We can't say enough good things about the facilities and the people working there. The personnel at the registration desk, Rum Bay restaurant, Coconuts, and the gift shop are all very helpful and friendly.

The condo was the cleanest I have been in. The was spacious with everything you would need. The people are the friendliest I have had the pleasure of meeting. The food at the Rum Bay Restaurant is some of the best food ever.

Thank you Stacey and Danny for sharing with us. We do what we can to help with the flying, biting, uninvited guests. We hope to see you both again, maybe a Palm Island Wedding for you too?

I had never heard of this resort until my buddy got married here last month. What a hidden gem this really is. Rent a golf cart to get around. Nice pool and nice restaurant on property. Worth coming here for a special ocassion.

I would say it's a good hour and a half. Regardless of what your GPS says, stay on the expressway as long as possible. I took what I thought would be a short cut (US23?) and it added a half hour on to the trip.
