Detailed Reviews
We went there for dinner, starters were generous for the price.
My second was lamb chops, and instead of being soft and juicy, they were way over cooked dry and hard...
The really sad thing is they didn't have any choice of wines, no bottled white or red... Only house wines: white Friulano and red Merlot. Such a shame because in the whole Friuli wines are amazing.

After 2 occasions in a group, with a menu established a priori, I return to this characteristic place for the à la carte New Year's Eve lunch
Wood and stone are the identity card of the restaurant but the true signature are the dishes: sincere, traditional but special
A flattering photograph of the culinary tradition of Carnia: wild herbs, wild berries (even in the fresh pasta dough), game, frico & polenta (cooked as God commands...), cjarsons, grilled meats, wide choice of homemade sweets...
Definitely a pleasant confirmation
Note of merit to the staff, always present but never suffocating
Much more than honest account which makes the quality/price ratio super

I was “pampered” during the fatigues of a bike tour: Alpine Peace in name and in fact! Very original, comfortable, welcoming rooms. Super cuisine, buffet breakfast that supported me in the climb of the legendary Sella Zoncolan da Ovaro, cleanliness and kindness always.

Review of the campsite only. We phoned, we were told that there was room, when we arrive the girl tells us to go independently to look for a free pitch and if we found her to communicate it, during the tour we spoke with other guests who told us that we did not understand well with the discharge of water as it was done... anyway of the campsite we identified several available spaces and we went to communicate it, with the occasion we asked how the black / gray water discharge worked and I load water but they told us that it was not possible! We asked for explanations on how it was not possible inside a camping area not to do these operations and the girl called the owner who at our questions with a nice smile simply told us that they were fully booked and that therefore we could not stop. I do not know if it is possible and has norm to have such an area without these but anyway we do not recommend for poor hospitality!

The authenticity of Carnia, its true soul, which is reflected in the things and people who manage Pace Alpina.
Aline and her sweet mother, always present and tireless, carry on the family tradition with love and dedication, and this is evident both in Aline's excellent cuisine which amazes every day with her dishes, and in the cleanliness and care of the rooms. Everything around speaks of the history of the place, of the family.
A place where simplicity is its strength.

Always a great experience; despite the contingent difficulties, good service and dishes up to the waitresses' standards. Perhaps the polenta tastes a little too smoky, but it certainly depends on the low pressure.
