It's a beautiful Manor House, stunning grounds, easy to get to, minstrels gallery in the dining room - but alas there is where the good points end. My room - number 34 costing £189 pn inc breakfast - was an oven. The heater in the toilet was broken and left permanently on maximum so I had to sleep with all...

I visited here to have a nice relaxing weekend away from the kids :) I booked the dinner, superior room and breakfast for £269. Don't book online as you won't find this deal. It was offered to me when I phoned the hotel to book. I wasn't well enough to eat in the restaurant so the hotel offered me room...

To our disappointment, this hotel did not come up to our expectations, taking into account the price one pays for a Junior Suite. Initially, all went well with our early arrival at the hotel to collect VIP Bicester Village complimentary tickets. Lovely drive way up to the hotel, giving us great hopes of a wonderful stay. We left our baggage...

My husband surprised me with a stay here for my 40th birthday (booking it on a luxury break website)and our first impressions were "wow!". Our room was ok, not luxury (stains on the chair and carpet but we aren't fussy so didn't let it bother us) but a good size....but then the shower didn't work. My husband told reception who...

From the outside The Manor looks beautiful. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about this venue. The hotel staff where miserable with very low levels of customer service. One member of staff walked into my room without knocking while I was resting before a meeting. When I left in the morning I was not asked "How was your stay"....

Firstly it would appear that the owner/proprietor does not make any comments on reviews. This could be for a number of reasons, ranging from 'Don't Care' to 'Don't Read', however, having read a lot of reviews it would be interesting to see some response. I had driven past this hotel many times and had always wanted to stay and finally...

We visited the manor for lunch and sat in the bar area. The staff member was friendly and there was a good choice of drinks on offer. I found the food very much over priced. £9.95 for a cheese and ham toasty with a bit of salad and some crisps!! The building is stunning and food to a very good...

Was gifted a birthday treat here in the form of a full afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches cut just right, scones and summer cake treats. Lovely spot with calming gardens - pity about the distant road noise but that can't be helped.
