We have been visiting Swansea at various times over the last 3 years as our son was studying at the University. We always tried to book a room at Chatcoombe (and were most disappointed if they were full!) as it is owned by the wonderful Merle and Richard who run a superb B&B. The rooms are big, well decorated, very...

Having visited earlier in the year for a funeral, I returned with my husband and son for a happier break! As before, Richard and merle were lovely, accommodating hosts, providing the perfect breakfasts. This time we stayed in the blue room, which has a lovely view of the sea. All was clean and well stocked for hot drinks as well...

Merle and Richard made us very welcome and suggested we book in early to get ready for a wedding at Sketty Hall. There were no restrictions on time we came back. Rooms were lovey - clean and well maintained with ample refreshments. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again to visit family. Thank you.

My brother and I stayed at this lovely B&B- just so nice to be back there after about 8 years. I had the magnificent "Blue room" with a balcony and excellent private bathroom. Brother had the back facing room which is ensuite and well equipped. On my earlier visit i'd had the other front room- so have seen all the...

What a lovely couple Richard and Merle are. I spent two nights in an en suite room as I was attending a family funeral. A warm welcome, clean and cosy room with tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities, biscuits, a bottle opener and wine glasses. Tv, wi fi access if needed and toiletries in bathroom, though I had obviously brought...
