If it weren't for the cold shower, making me pay the night before (said it was their policy although perhaps they knew the shower wasn't going to work or because no one would be there before 8am - which is also an issue wanted breakfast early), I would've rated this as average in its price of £95.

As we live fairly close to the Jolly Brewers we thought that we would have an early evening meal as we had heard that it had a new chef. The pub was really clean and had a tidy up since we last visited. We started with a drink in the bar area which was fairly busy with locals. We then... More

Decided to try somewhere different. Place was nicely done out. Food was very good value, portion sizes would not disappoint. Would definitely visit again. Average price for a main was approximately £13. Food was of a good quality.

Stayed overnight as going to Duxford Airshow the next day. The room and shower room were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room could have been darker and curtains with the blinds would have helped. We had booked a family room but there was no third bed. As our grandchild didn't come with us in the end, this didn't... More

A very small hotel with only 4 rooms (I believe) only a very short ride away from one of the Park & Ride facilities into Cambridge. The room was of a very good size and even though we added an extra bed was spacious enough to move around in. We could park our car, for free, right outside our room.... More

Stayed here overnight as we were visiting the local vineyard. Friendly and peaceful. Bed comfortable. Thanks we will definitely come back. vineyard about 15 miles away but that was ok. The pub is one of 3 locally but we enjoyed the garden area and then the restaurant for evening meal. All good.

I stayed at the Jolly Brewers whilst attending a training course at the local college of East Anglia. The experience from the start was excellent. I found the room comfortable with everything I needed to hand & a great power shower. I ate both evenings, one night in my room & the other in the restaurant. I couldn't fault the... More

Started with moules mariniere which was true to the classic and enjoyable if uninspired. For mains, the lamb was a tasty, generous cut and well-cooked to just over medium rare, with a strongly flavoured jus. The potato dauphinoise was a very poor example of this dish - undercooked, under-seasoned and not cohering. The chef needs to taste a well-cooked dauphinoise... More

Visited one more the 1 occasion and has always been Craig to serve us. Think he is fab but extremely over worked. Always serves with a smile and is a great laugh when he isn't too busy as most the time he is running the bar and restaurant running food and serving drinks alone. Always leave him a tip and... Planning a recent trip down memory lane, we discovered that the Jolly Brewers in Milton now offers quality B&B accommodation in the coach house at the rear of the car park. It was our favourite pub for having meals when we lived in the village many years ago, so we booked in for three nights. First time in England for... More
