Very pleasant pub. Just had scampi and chips with a pint of local ale. Was very nice. Enjoyed the home made tartar sauce. Meal less than £9 beer was £3.40. Good value. I enjoyed it a lot. Pub was also very clean and warm. Just working now towards minimum 200 letters. What a rubbish rule

The Lord Byron is about 2-3 miles from city centre, easily walkable. The bfast is good, the pricing is good for Cambridge levels. the whole place looks a bit tired but the rooms in the annex are clean and warm. the shower, though was almost useless, water came out but so little

Lunch was fine if a bit boring and setting could be good but was missing something. This pub had a normal pub a restaurant and rooms but did not feel very welcoming which is strange considering the location. As I have said before pubs etc need to have the outside looking tidy.

A beautiful little Inn with so much character. Plenty of free parking and only a short drive or bus ride to Cambridge. A 5-minute walk to Waitrose to get those extra supplies. The Inn is charming and the staff very helpful (and colourful). The rooms are set apart from the main pub so not too noisy. The ensuite was clean...

Words are not enough to explain our experience and thanks to The Lord Byron Inn and the staff that provided this feeling that we are left with after having stayed there, albeit for one night only, 30th December 2016. The moment that we walked through the door into the Inn we immediately felt at ease, we did not interrupt their...

A lovely little place to stay. Basic but clean accommodation but suited my needs. Extremely pleasant friendly and accommodating staff. Menu too limited with little variation for us veggies but the chef offered to rustle up something else for me. DO NOT USE booking.com!!

We stayed here for 2 nights, a little Christmas shopping break in Cambridge. First impressions were good, plenty of space to park, friendly staff and the garden and little annex bedrooms seemed very nice. It's a nice walk into Cambridge city centre, if you choose to walk the route via Grantchester, this avoids the main road, and it's about 2...

Stayed here with my wife and 2 young sons, they don't normally cater for 2 children(some insurance issue) but they allowed us to pay £10 for a travel cot for our youngest!. Room was clean tidy modern and decent space. Breakfast was good and well cooked with a large array of pptions😎 high chairs also available! Very good evening meal...

First off the staff are incredibly friendly the service is also amazing. The Sunday Roast is cheap and I highly recommend it. As a former worker here I have to say the menu doesn't have enough variety. The pub during is always empty the tables need cleaning and the walls need another paint. The tables are also a fire hazard....

First of all. I feel there is a bit of bitterness because you got fired due to not turning up for work because you are tired. Also i think your on about the manager not the owner. Should really have your facts right before you write reviews online to try and hurt this business due to your lack of work....

A pub which does B&B in a series of rooms in an annex away from the main pub building. Room comfortable and clean, but not lavish. On suite bathroom a bit spartan but OK. Not bad for the price and location. Great breakfast is included. Free parking. Would definitely stay again.
