Booked online based on convenient location and access to M11. Pleasant reception, and the place is quiet. The room, which was in the chalet annexe was adequate for one, but a bit poky with a very low beam which meant ducking. I thought the breakfast for £10 was better value than most, and unusually for country house hotels they can...

We stayed 2 nights in March. Looking for a good value, great location trip to the historic City of Cambridge. Rectory Farm fitted the bill perfectly. After an easy check in, we were led to our room in the chalet block in the beautiful grounds. Rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious with a full bathroom (including shower and bath) which...

What a stunning building! I cannot speak for the chalet-type accommodation, but my room was superb! I had a quirky little room on the second floor (number 7 I think). It would have been two small for two (despite the 4' bed being made up with pillows for 2!), but the room was fresh, clean and bright, with lovely views...

Rectory Farm is quite a gem, tucked away yet close to a motorway. Although it's a little difficult to spot the entrance driveway once inside it is impossible not to notice the very smart gardens and buildings. Our room was a trifle small but had all mod cons and worked well for us. The breakfast was of a high quality,...

Rectory Farm is a nice place with a lot of potential; however, there were a few issues which would prevent us from returning. Firstly, and most significantly for us, was the lack of window in our room. It got very hot, especially during the night and we were unable to sleep. Eventually, we had to open the door (which led...

Booked for a weekend as we wanted to be somewhere quiet but close to city. Great choice. Lovely location semi rural and beautiful building and easy to find. Christina who welcomed us was lovely and helpful. The room was very well presented, very comfy bed and all spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money Only query would be why charge £2...

This hotel really is a superb find. We found it through Booking. com and were impressed with the price offered, and the facilities. We stayed for one night, Thursday Feb 16th, as part of our 2 day visit to Cambridge. We had two double rooms, one for myself as my husband couldn't make the trip at the last minute, and...

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Cambridge. We requested an early check in so that we could spend longer in the city centre. Although we couldn't actually access our room, we were able to park our car and use the park & ride which is very conveniently situated five minutes up the road and advised we could check in up...

The building and grounds are beautiful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The receptionist checked us in and showed us to our room which was on the top floor. A reasonably sized room with a really comfortable bed and lots of pillows. The little packs of biscuits are a nice touch with the teas and coffees in the...

We had a great stay for 3 nights. The staff we had contact with were friendly and efficient. Very easy access to Cambridge and the surrounding area. We used the Park and Ride for increased ease. The room was comfortable and welcoming. The en-suite was clean with an efficient shower although the beam on the way to the sink did...
