Hi, so the hotel is located a litte bit at the end of antigua and there is nothing around to explore, therefore the need for a taxi or rental car cones up. Taxis are really expensive and there is seldom anything below 70 US for...More
We stayed in one of the beach front villas, which was perfect- 2 lovely big bedrooms and a huge living area/reception room and a fabulous terrace with views over the bay. My sole complaint about the rooms was the lack of mirrors! The only mirror...More
Nestled on a mountainside are about 70 rooms/villas. Cute and quaint, but we found the paths, walkways, bar, and eating areas to be a bit cramped. The accommodations have great views. There are many children. Practically every adult was had at least one child with...More

I wouldn't hesitate. It's not the largest resort and as such there's just one restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves buffet breakfast and lunch both with a good selection of western and carribean dishes. Dinner is al a carte 6 nights a week and a Caribbean buffet 1 night which is fantastic. The al a carte menu is changed every 2 days with a selection of 4 items per course. Drinks selection, there was a menu of about 10 cocktails, but you can have spirits/ mixer and I guess if you knew a cocktail recipe they'd make it for you no charge. There's a decent selection of wines I think 2 types or white, red (Not sure how many types), rose and sparkling. Tried a sauvigion blanc which was great.
The only additional charge we had was some items we purchased from the shop beyond that every drink meal and activity was covered. Although to note there is 40 knots that provides scuba diving which isn't included but this is a separate hut to the resort's water sports and made very clear.
All in all yeah this is a proper AI but in the end I was more impressed with the friendly and helpful nature of all the staff. By the end you'll feel like family.
