I don't know if we have been lucky but most of the b and b's we have stayed at during our Offa's Dyke Path walk have all been remarkable for their welcome. Ceinwen welcomed us to her home with a gallon of tea and a plateful of barra brith cake and chocolate digestives. It was a lovely day and after...

The homely feel created by Ceinwen and her husband was second to none. This couple get real pleasure from what they do best, caring for people. After a gruelling 9 hour walk we were offered first a cool drink, then a pot of tea with some home baked cakes upon arrival. Even sharing their dinner was contemplated, ( I know...

I stayed at Drewin Farm while walking Offa's Dyke Path. The property was very well kept, homelike, with a welcoming and thoughtful host. Breakfast was superb. View from my bedroom window was bucolic. Highly recommended.

A friend and I had the good fortune to stay here when walking the Northern section of Offa's Dyke. The farmhouse is beautiful with a warm and friendly family atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast, superb made with fresh local ingredients, well cooked and presented. The welcome we received from Mrs Richards as tired...

My parents and I had the pleasure of staying at Drewin Farm during a road trip around the UK. On arrival we were welcomed by the lovely Ceinwen. Once inside her beautiful home, we were treated to some Welsh cakes and tea in the warm sitting room. Yum! Ceinwen showed us to our rooms; my parents stayed in a double...

On arrival, welsh cakes and bara brith and a cup of tea were waiting for us in a warm kitchen. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable and the views spectacular. Ceinwen was extremely welcoming and is a very friendly host. Although we did not partake, the tea and cake was on offer on each day (we stayed three days)....

A real welcome with tea and great home baking. A working farm with a very comfortable relaxed feel we were given a lift to a splendid pub in Bishops Castle and kindly collected afterwards. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and most important the host was totally charming and friendly. Strongly recommended.

Lovely rooms, lovely views, lovely breakfast and lovely host. My family loved it and already looking to return next year. It was wonderful to be welcomed with tea and welsh cakes, which were very nice and much appreciated. Wish we could have stayed a longer but we will next time.

We walked the extra 5 miles to make the 'switchbacks' a bit shorter the next day, a bit of a struggle but what a welcome at the Drewins. Fresh tea and home-made Welsh cakes in a warm kitchen - just what we needed. The rooms were just like you would picture a farm-house B & B to be like in...

Couldn't agree more with Duncan S that Drewin Farm is an ideal place to stay when walking Offa's Dyke. This is especially so due to the fact that the section Knighton to Cwm is probably the toughest on the whole walk, and we managed to strike it just after the wettest week for a million years, making it even harder....
