Just come home from a meal at the Kins Arms , we both had belly of pork . It was so small , just had 6 small half of new potato with a small square of belly of pork , at £16 , I did expect more . Went away hungry, was going to have a pudding but as the...

Thanks for sending in your review, along with your photo, which until i looked at it, I thought there may have been a problem with the meal you were served. From the picture, I can clearly see everything was as it should be. Approx 275g of quality Dorset Pork Belly, a good portion of greens and approx 100g of potato....

I have stopped at this pub several times on the motorbike for a coffee and a yuck bite but I have never stopped here for an evening meal with my wife. We stopped early and it was almost empty but it filled very quickly after we sat down. The staff were very polite and efficient and it was clear they...

We were staying at the nearby Portesham Dairy Farm Camp Site (can't find a page to give a good review for that too) and stopped in to the Kings Arms for a lovely meal. From the off, the staff were attentive without being overbearing and the food was very enjoyable. Nice, dog friendly, and the evening's ukulele night was a...

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write your review, and great to hear you enjoyed your time with us. I was slightly concerned on your comment regarding the price of the IPA. We have a large selection of keg and craft beers (15 in total and more than any other pub within quite a large radius). With this broad...

Me and my partner booked a table for lunch (Sunday) being busy at lunch times and being in this trade myself know it's always nice that people book to avoid disappointment. We were greeted by a young polite girl and seated by another. Drinks order taken. Looking at menu and people's food being brought out we couldn't decide. A roast...

We met friends at this pub/restaurant - immediately we were shown to a table, we were advised to order quickly as they were expecting a large party, which was helpful. Our waiter was very diligent and happy to please. Our main course arrived without delay, was extremely good, generous portions and was greatly enjoyed by all. Our waiter hovered attentively...

We stayed off season so it was quiet. It will be much busier during the summer months given the camp sites nearby. There are three rooms in a recently built annex. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped.The food in the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Duck Farm shop about 100 yards...

I called in for a drink with a friend here in passing as we have previously enjoyed our visits. It was a quiet night, a Tuesday, and instead of the usual attentive greeting we were served by a young lady who carried on conversation with two of her friends who were sitting at the bar while she was pouring our...

Lovely clean room in a lovely setting. The only downside are the crows which nest in the big cedar right above the accommodation wing of the Kings Arms. A bit of a gauntlet to run though fortunately we weren't hit and they're a bit nosy come daybreak (but quiet at night). I'd consider putting a pergola/awning or something over the...

This evening I enjoyed a really good meal at the Kings Arms . We had to wait for a few minutes before our drinks order and then the meal. The only criticism is I would like my food on a plate and not a piece of slate and my desert in a proper dish and not a cup. Maybe I'm...
