Hotel is cost efficient. Room was clean and front desk service was good. I think you get exactly as expected for the price. You do need a car to use this hotel. Otherwise is a long walk to public transportation

Stayed here to attend a wedding in a complex outside of Bordeaux. Located right next to the highway so very convenient for a road trip stop. The beds are comfortable and very clean, really recommended. Went to visit a friend to the near Ibis and there is no comparison, Arena is much much better. Also attention from the owner (I...

Travelling through France we had to make an unexpected stop on Bordeaux and needed a hotel very quickly for a few days stay. We stumbled across this marvellous place where the staff in reception were wonderfully refreshing and so so helpful . I cannot stress enough how fabulous the Arena is,the rooms are clean modern and comfortable. We needed. Family...

I chose this place mostly because of its location, south of Bordeaux, to avoid the major traffic jams when heading southwards, by doing a one night stop. The amenities are rather basic, but it does the job well for a short stop like this. so is the breakfast too. good bedding quality, clean rooms. The staff was friendly, and helpful...

Had no problems at all with hotel , ideal for someone with own transport, my only down side was the cost of taxi to and from the airport , hotel is less than 10 minutes drive but the taxi booked by the hotel cost 60 euro so not sure who was behind the excessive cost but it took the gloss...

Had a reservation booked for this hotel on the 11/06/16. Wrote an email to the hotel stating that I would be checking in late and if they would stay on to book us in which they said they would. I had this confirmation on an email. Got to the hotel, nobody was there, the 24 hour machine check in was...

We needed a bed for the night on our way to Spain. It was very easy to get to from the ringway, price was excellent (€56) And the room was clean and modern. Features include air conditioning (which was ok, but not great), a good shower, hair dryer, a TV in the room and double double glazing (yes I wrote...

The Hotel Arena Bordeaux was an overnight stop enroute to Roscoff from Lisbon. This was an unexpected journey as the Santander to Plymouth ferry we had been booked on, had been cancelled due to issues with the ship. The hotel was well located for our trip north and was easy to find. Unfortunately, there are no eating places within the...

First the negatives, very small rooms with the bare minimum of furnishings, not a place you want to sit and chill out. The bathrooms are very basic but adequate for an over nighter. The hotel does not have a restaurant and there is none within easy walking distance. Now the positives, easy to find being just off the ring road...
