Le Soretel was a good example of what it is: a clean, basic hotel with decent beds and proximity to the Bordeaux airport. It is obviously a business and traveler's hotel. So weekends are likely to be empty. And on this Friday night we were literally the only one in the hotel. However the welcome was warm and the price...

for one night beofre an early flight this hotel is perfectly OK. The decor are a little tired and as a chain the management should carry out a critical inspection to replace worn carpet etc. Bed comfortable and bathroom shower over the bath was sufficiently powerful. Added plus was a safety handle. The weekend receptionist spoke perfect english and could...

My wife and I stayed at the Brit Hotel for a total of five nights this month and have to say it has suited us well. It is within 15 or so minutes walk from the airport and there is a bus stop outside where you can catch a bus into the centre of Bordeaux for 1.50 euros pp and...

Booked the hotel as it was close to the airport for an early morning flight. On check in the receptionist was very helpful. The room was fairly good with the best item being the airco as an escape from the 33C outside. The room was quite comfortable however a bit small even with that there was no real problem. The...

When you think about airport hotels you often think about really basic and skimping on the necessities. Well, think again. Brit Hotel is ery near the airport and if you catch bus #1 it will take you right through to Bordeaux St Jean train station for 1.5 Euro. From the hotel that same bus can take you to nearby restaurants...

Bus stop for number 1 bus is well marked. You pay 1.50 euros on the bus or machine. The hotel is the 2nd stop just after a roundabout. They restaraunt was open on a Tues night and was ok but friendly. Breakfast was overpriced. We paid extra and could have eaten more. We caught the bus early to Bordeaux and...

We stayed in a Brit Hotel before in France which was really nice and awesome value so we thought this would be similar. It was not!! First it looked closed. So dated and well over priced for what it is. Staff were okay but thr hotel was massively understaffed. Bar was depressing and wicked expensive. The pints were not poured...

This hotel is close to the airport and is on the number 1 bus route which makes it really easy to get to from the airport and equally easy to visit Bordeaux city. The restaurant is superb for an hotel of its size and the rooms are comfy. I stayed for a week which is unusual for an airport hotel...

This hotel is wonderfully convenient to the Bordeaux airport, being situated just 30 metres from a bus that will get you at the airport in just 5 minutes. The same bus will take you directly into the centre of town. The highlight of our stay was meeting Emmanuelle, the delightful, helpful receptionist. Emmanuelle skilfully and charmingly promoted both the hotel...

Progressively trying all of these airport hotels. This place was great value for 49 euros including breakfast for 2. Rooms were pretty decent if a little outdated. Bath/shower etc worked fine. The staff on reception and cleaning rooms were very friendly and helpful. It's really well located and breakfast included a selection of breads, brioche and patisseries with loads of...
