This place is home from home. Rosemary is very welcoming and the b&b is in a good position for walks from the door and a stone's throw to the Sloop Inn for evening meal. Lugano attracts many returnees back to them!

We stayed in Lugano on 29th November and has a very warm welcome - well more than that. We were walking the Offa's Dyke path and it was late - it was raining and dark. We had a phone call from Rosemary who had decided that she would pick us up and take us back with her. What an offer...

B&B's don't get much better than this. Spotless, comfortable, and a very warm welcome from our hosts John and Rosemary. The little touches make it even more special, a veritable feast of a breakfast, fresh milk in the room for tea and coffee and a superb location for walking the Wye Valley. Excellent!

We had a lovely welcome from Rosemary. The room was tidy, clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. It made a perfect start to a weekends walking & a break from never ending work. The Sloop Inn provided a huge meal & a hearty breakfast the following day meant we were set for the Wye Valley.

A great warm welcome from Rosemary and John, the breakfast was impeccable. After breakfast me and my family went for a walk through the woods the view was beautiful. We finished the day by having food at the sloop. All I can say is that the service makes this place delightful.

This B & B was a great place to stay at the end of our first day walking Offa's Dyke. We received a warm welcome from Rose on arrival who made sure that we had everything we needed. Not all the rooms are ensuite, this was reflected in the price. This was not an issue for us and didn't matter...

Yet again we have had a wonderful break at Lugano, my family and I stayed over the Easter break and had a lovely time, there are now enough of us to occupy all the rooms in the house which is great fun. Rosemary & John were once again the perfect hosts and made sure we had everything we required! Breakfast...

This must be our 15th to 20th visit to Mrs Townsend's B & B and to be honest it is sheer perfection, the rooms are neat and tidy and very clean, and the breakfast is the best I have ever had in a B & B, you certainly wont need anything else to eat until the evening, and nothing is...
