Stayed for two nights. Excellent stay. Spectacular views over the river barrow. Breakfast was faultless. Wonderful hospitality. Handy for visiting local sights. Great walks along the quayside and river.

We arrived late but the Owner was there to greet us and when she realized we were hungry produced cheese and crackers. The rooms were substantial, comfortable and warm. The views from my friends balconie were amazing looking down on the river Barrow. The whole atmosphere was one of relaxation with undulating lawns. The Irish Breakfast was fresh and delicious....

I would highly recommend Mulvarra House. I went there for a quiet time to do some writing and it was perfect for that, even though the place was full, it was quiet and restful. The massage that I booked was excellent and the breakfasts were second to none.

We loved the view from the balcony, The B & B was spotlessly clean, comfortable, with helpful owners. The breakfasts were great with a good choice. It was nice to have a shared fridge. There was nothing we did not like about our two night stay.

Gave this place 4/5 because the views are incredible. However, the room and bathroom probably deserve a 3. The shower was merely warm and the blow dryer was busted. The stains on the carpet were off putting as well. Owner seemed nice enough, and breakfast was served on time.

Have stayed here several times and as always is was brilliant......the views, the room, the breakfasts. The individual items that make up Noreen's breakfasts ....the black and white puddings, the bacon, the free range eggs, the yoghurt and dark fruits compote, choice of mueslis.......all carefully selected and the best I've had. Just love the place and have recommended it many...

After winding our way south through the Wicklow Mountains, we were delighted when we got to Mulvarra house. It is a quiet and lovely place situated up on a hillside with an indescribably beautiful view of the winding river and valley below. The accommodations are lovely and spacious and the breakfast was excellent. Helen greeted us warmly and gave us...

Superb B&B with incredible views, quiet and relaxed. We got a twin room, one of the beds was even big enough for the two of us! (we are a couple). Breakfast is super, you can choose even hot sides prepared at the moment, delicious! It's conveniently located near Kilkenny and you can easily visit the great Rock of Cashel.
